Bad stay

Internet was down during my whole stay. Vending machine down during my stay. Early one morning, during midnight shift, asked front desk for pack of coffee. Was told I would have to request it during day shift. Told them about standing in ankle deep water while showering. They did not fix the problem. Bedcover had holes in it from cigarette burns but left on bed. I called on morning of 11/14 about shoes I left in room. No one ever called me back about the status of my shoes. I would never stay there again and never recommed it to anyone.

Good place to stay for cheap

My girlfriend and I were looking to stay somewhere cheap but still close to Baltimore so we could check out a few games. This place was just right. Nothing special, but for the price and the 10 minute drive, it was perfect for what we needed!

B'more

The hotel was average, nothing special. The only thing(s) I could knock are: 1. The decor was old. 2. The bullet proof glass in the lobby made me feel I was in a dangerous place. If you're just looking for a no frills place to crash, this hotel will suffice.

Adequate for a Short Stay

What can you say about Ramada Inn that everybody doesn't already know. They have some visible maintenance and housekeeping issues ... and some of their "attention to detail" could use improvement. Generally, I felt comfortable and safe and didn't feel overly concerned about the wear & tear of their facility for the price I was paying. The staff was friendly and hospitable and probably doing the best they could with what they had. I've gotten more for less money in some smaller motels across the US and I've gotten a whole lot less for more money from other hotels where I expected more from from the start (especially in larger cities!). This one in the Baltimore was adequate in meeting the essential minimum standards. I think if the folks at Ramada Inn took some relatively low cost initiatives - like a power washer to the outside of their building and parking lot every once in a while, resurfaced their pool and replaced the chain and padlock on the gate with a less scrapyard looking security measure, ran a fresh coat of paint over some of the obviously worn areas in the corridors, replaced some damaged/worn appliances in the rooms and fixed a few broken tiles at their entrance way ... they'd probably satisfy the expectations of middle America better. As it is, Ramada Inn at this location (and others I've experienced over recent years) seems content to cater to the minimum standards and expectations of 3rd world travelers ... nothing like the reputation they built only 30 years ago.

"very scary"

The hotel was in a very bad area, the people occupying the facility were loud and rowdy at 3am in the morning, running up and down the stairs cussing and screaming. The people who ran the place did not speak very good english and the so called free internet service was horrible. I would not recommend this hotel or motel what ever you want to call it. I always thought the Ramada was a good hotel. Well this place puts its name in shame!
