New Grandpa Memorial Day
I will not stay there again no matter what!
Hotel is tired old and downtown with poor lighting. Construction on Sat and Heavy Metal concert patrons were nice until one screamer on Sunday night. Staff does not know which rooms are smoking. My third room move, Room 731 was across from the elevator! I was worn out by the staff. Parking was $31.00/ night. I had a car and could have stayed at a $300/night for same price in or out of downtown.

Family getaway/graduation
The staff was amazing but the food and rooms were not. Very average which didn't seem like it would be because of the location. This was our first time in Baltimore.

Great getaway in Baltimore
Traveled to Baltimore for a graduation. Enjoyed our stay at the Radisson,Plaza Lord Baltimore. It was a historic hotel right down town. We were able to take local buses to many local sites including the free purple line. Taxis were always waiting by the door for trips to the airport or other locations. We loved exploring Baltimore by light rail and bus, we caught the marc to DC and spent the day walking the mall. The staff was courteous and friendly. Free Wi- fi and surrounded by lots of wonderful restaurant choices.

We took the buses to lots of local places got to see many historic sites and felt like we really got to know Baltimore better than if we had rented a car and paid for parking.

Sleepless Night
On the night arrived I received room 802 and settled into bed. At 2 a.m. I woke to find someone trying to get into my room with a key. I had the security locks on, so I thought they would figure out that they weren't getting in. At 2:30 the person returned, eventually left and came back again at 3 a.m. This time I opened the door and a very surprised man showed me the card the front desk had given him for room 802. I sent him away. At 3:30 a.m. there was a knock on the door, and I opened it to find a police officer and the hotel manager, saying there were trying to find the guy registered for the room because he had complained that his key didn't work. I sent them away. At 4 a.m. the phone started ringing. I am not making this up. I unplugged it. The next night I stopped at the front desk and told them my story. They looked at the computer and said I was registered for room 803. I told them I was in 802, my key worked in 802, all my stuff was in 802. They ran for the elevator to catch the man who had just checked in and received a key for room 802. The following night I arrived at the hotel to find that my key no longer worked. I went to the front desk and received another, which also didn't work. I tried a third key, no luck. Security had to walk me to my door and open it, which was fine except I had no key. Then and only then did the hotel offer to remove $40 from my bill for my four night stay.

Harbor sunsets
Was expecting more
Check in process was GREAT, overall staff was great . The room was not . I paid for the upgrade to the plaza and the only difference in a standard room was location. Within 10 mins I had to call the front desk because out toilet turned into a water fountain. The walls have seen better days , and I'm sure the bug crawling around could agree with me. The location was off , the map made the harbor look like 2/3 blocks away in fact it was about 10 but with all the shopping bags and walking the 4/5 blocks that make up the harbor it feels like a 20 block walk. Now a pro is the comp breakfast which did included cereal , pastry, and such as well as comps lunch and drinks . Being from out of town I wanted to get a good experiences and I don't think I achieved that :(

Good for work trips
I went there for two nights and it's near the transportation and staff were very friendly. There's 7 11 close to it and a Panera and a star bucks, so if you're there for work, it's optimal. I didn't like the fact that on the website they said the room has a microwave and it didn't, although I ended up going out for dinner anyway.
