Hotel stay
The hotel was comfortable and in a great location. The free breakfast was really awful and could use some improvement.

Very Average
Very average hotel, looks old and dated. The good thing was parking right across the street which costs $10 per day. Not sure if i would stay here again.

Great value 2013
We wanted a hotel near bus and light rail lines that was reasonably priced and not a nationwide chain. This is it! Resturants are within walking distance.

Quiet, older hotel with great character
Very pleasant stay. Staff were helpful, especially the front desk. Breakfast buffet included scrambled eggs and all the trimmings. Being an older hotel it has thick walls and quiet rooms. Had to wrestle a bit with the air conditioning.

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
La Scala restaurant in Little Italy is terrific. Start with their grilled romaine Caesar salad and go from there. Made me forget for a moment all the good seafood Baltimore has to offer.

Preakness race
We booked a queen size bed we got a full. We called the front desk for more towels and it took an hour. We also had to pay $30 to park at the hotel for 2 days. But was close to walk to restaurants and bars.

The hotel was located in a nice location to see the sites; I liked the Hotel but was not impressed with the staff on their cleaning. When we got to the room it was very clean but each day the staff did a below average keeping the room clean.
