Fun Date Night Hotel

Nice hotel. The rooms were a little drafty, had to put heat higher than home to warm the rooms. Would benefit from new windows. Completely renovated rooms except for bathroom tiling, which is quite old and cracked. Looks out of place in the nice room that has been renovated, assuming this is the next project. Nice lobby, didn't get a chance to utilize restaurant. Parking was not too far, right off of Fayette street, and was $15 for a 24 hour period, although would be nice if it allowed ins and outs.

Perfect location and comfort for our needs

Overall we had an amazing stay at this hotel. We had a problem with the first evening we arrived when construction work on the neighboring site was extremely disturbing, but the staff changed our room immediately we made them aware of the problem. Everyone we dealt with and spoke with with professional and charming. We will definitely stay there again should we visit Baltimore and highly recommend it to friends and family.

Great weekend getaway!

Me and my husband stayed here for the weekend on a mini vacation. The hotel was great! The front desk staff was very helpful when we asked for recommendations on where to go for some drinks. The valet employees were informative and helped us decide which option would be best for us. We decided to park in the hotel parking garage two blocks away. The hotel looked very fancy on the inside. Unfortunately we did not get the chance to dine in the on site restaurant or bakery, definitely next time though! Our room was very nice and clean. We stayed on the 17th floor. The only minor issue I had was the construction across the street. The loud construction noises started around 8 am Saturday morning, so I didn't get to sleep as late as I would have liked. But that is not the hotels fault, maybe ask to stay in a room on the opposite side. All in all, this hotel was perfect for us! We will be returning sometime in the spring!

Romantic Getaway

This hotel is close to everything and is very comfortable. A little noisy due to a building demolision across the street.

WEEKEND IN BALTIMORE

The Lord Baltimore is a lovely 1928 hotel modernized with very comfortable rooms and a pleasant lobby. We found the bed to be particularly good. There is valet parking but they also provide self-parking for about half the cost at a reasonable rate. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

Quick Getaway!

The hotel was nice. There was an odd smell at the bar and the drink wasn't the best. The front desk staff were amazing and very sweet, except that when I checked out and told them the toilet handle didn't work and I had to flush it by opening the lid the response was ah sorry. I guess it was what I paid for?! I would give it another try at some point. Valet was expensive but didn't want to drive around looking for parking.

Great Location

The hotel is in a great location for doing business in the area. It's in the heart of downtown. If you want Inner a Harbor there are closer hotels for about the same price or just a bit higher. The Lord Baltimore is a historic hotel so expect some "antique" look and feel. Furniture and bathroom fixtures were adequate but could be upgraded. I would have preferred free parking over complimentary Wifi. The hotel parking is $15 per day to self park and $35 per day for Valet service. Parking on the street is free between midnight and 0800 although the signs on the street are a bit confusing, during the day it's $2.00 per hour with a four hour limit and maximum $4.00 deposit so you have to feed the machine every two hours. Another big plus is the hotel is a one minute walk to the MARC train station.

If you don't mind being adventurous park at one of the park and ride locations and hop on the train to Baltimore.
