Not the bed configuration I ordered

I reserved two queen beds with this web site, but arrived to find only single Queen beds available. The front desks claims that unless the I book directly with the hotel either by phone or their direct web site they are not obligated to provide what I purchased. Other Baltimore hotels were sold out, so we had to make due with the one bed. It was frusterating and disappointing . The hotel was clean, provided good breakfast and beautiful lobby. The highway next door is loud if your room is on that side of the building. Parking was additional money, but free shuttle to the harbor.

ok for budget minded needing to attend conference

staff excellent, mostly helpful. Pros: breakfast was good. Pancakes, cinnamon rolls, cereal, juice. coffee. Pretty quiet except could hear street noise as it is located at busy intersection. Negs: complimentary shuttle seemed always full, sits about 5 or 6 people only. Needed to get to convention center. Walking distance if 1 mile ok. Neighborhood a little dicey, a little scary for single woman. Juvenile court and homeless shelter across/down the street. Overall, I have been in worse places.

Our hotel stay

The hotel overall was very nice for the price. We did have to pay extra for parking per night, but when the weekend came they didn't have enough parking spots. The hotel is not near Inner Harbor, but it's not a bad walk (10 min) if you're up for it. They do have a free shuttle that can take you where ever, which was great most of the time. Except their last pick up was 9:30pm so when we went out to dinner at La Scala, we were lucky the restaurant had a complimentary shuttle to take us back to our hotel. So you must keep that in mind when planing your outing. The complimentary breakfast they serve every morning was a very good spread; there was something for everyone and it's free! Our room was an odd shape, but a good size and nicely decorated.

La Scala is an upscale Italian restaurant in Little Italy. A bit pricey (we were celebrating our anniversary) but you get a good portion and everything we had was absolutely delicious!

Enjoy Baltimore

The room was probably their worst with the traffic going by all night. We had to change rooms for an unrelated reason and the second room was much better. Also parking was extra. A first! Hotel needs a like of love. They did have a shuttle available to try to improve the location.

Weekend Away

I was very pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, service, and cleanliness of this hotel. It is only a 10 minute walk to Inner Harbor, and they provide free shuttle service to many locations around the city. I will definitely stay here again when I need a hotel in downtown Baltimore

Great Getaway Value

Although the neighborhood is a little sketchy, this old converted bank houses a clean, modern and beautifully appointed hotel. I was amazed at the tasteful interiors, comfort and style, at a really modest price. If you mind walking the several blocks to Inner Harbor, the hotel has shuttle services. Take the water taxi to Fells Point and experience great bars and restaurants and the beautiful Harbor at night.

Convenient

I stayed in Baltimore as my Goddaughter was attending a camp at Loyola College. The hotel was minutes from the college and near the entrance to the freeway used to get to the college. The hotel was also walking distance from the Inner Harbor, about seven blocks. The staff at the hotel were very accomodating and the hotel had a shuttle service that took us to the Inner Harbor. The staff recommended a great restaurant, Mo's Crab and Pasta House. My only concern was with the location of the hotel. Even though we walked home from the movie theater we had to walk through a very seedy area. As a single female staying at this location I did not feel completely safe. Please know the hotel was beautiful, the staff was accomodating, there was food and wi-fi service, and the room was sizable and unique.
