room door left open and other people's trash!

So my experience was terrible. Stayed at the Holiday Inn-inner harbor, in Baltimore, Maryland last week in March. there for 5 days, and day two I realized someone else's full powerAid and an extra ice bucket were in the corner of my room. Check 439, west tower, bet its still there... Then I come back day three after a conference. And my door was open, I just pushed and I was in!...terrible. so I called, is the manager said she couldn't do much for me due to me booking through Orb itz, so she'd give me dinner and breakfast!...thats the last time I stay there along with using Orb itz, it was supposed to be a FOUR star hotel. Thats completely wrong. The place is dirty and beat up...maybe a two

Small oddities

All the staff was very nice and friendly, there is a cute coffee shop in the lobby, and the location is great for the event I was going to. The positive aspects end there though. First, the bathroom in our room was so small that the door had a notch carved into it so it could open without hitting the rim of the toilet. The water from the sinks ran brown the entire time, and there were no water bottles in the room (or the vending machine on the floor above us). To top it off we had to pay $25 dollars to park in the hotel parking lot. I find having to pay for parking at the hotel you are staying at kind of absurd.

Date Night

The stay at this hotel leaves a lot to be desired. First the parking prices are ridiculous! I understand that they provide public parking for others..however I would think if you are a hotel guest it should be free or a discount should be given. The amenities (pool, restaurant, snack machine) are all located in the main building causing guest in our building to have to walk out of our building across the uncovered parking lot in the cold to enter the main building. I will not be staying at this hotel again and I will not make any recommendation for it

Dirty and LOUD

As soon as we walked it, we noticed the room smelled like dirty water. The bathroom was gross. In the corner behind the door, was a huge ball of hair and dust. Like it floor wasn't cleaned in a while. After a shower, the water was clogged. Will definitely not stay here again.

Good Christmas break

We stayed during Christmas break for my grandkids and one son who teachers. The hotel was within walking distance from the Aquimum, Inner Habor and restuarants. Everything was nice and grandkids especially enjoyed the pool. The rates were good but ther was a $25.00 per day cost for parking so that made up for the good rates.

Great Birthday

I came to this hotel for my bday to go swimming an d spend time with my bf. I had a dinner reservation at Kona Grill, Which happened to be only a 5 min walk away so that was great. The staff was pleasant. In the morning I called the front desk for toothpaste and it got to the room in what seems like 2mins!! Me and my family are coming back this weekend

Business Travel

The room was small but adequate since I was traveling by myself. I was in the West tower which you have to walk outside to get too, not a big deal but can see it being a pain in the middle of winter. My room was clean but the shower curtain smelled and the bath tub was rusted. The staff was very friendly and informative.

Decent facility and location

Just a couple of blocks from Inner Harbor so it's easy walk to bars and restaurants. Free WiFi in room worked well. Room comfortable, small coffee shop in lobby with snacks was useful. Also is a liquor store just across the street.
