Weekend getaway in Baltimore Inner Harbor!

I have stayed at other Hampton Inns before and they never disappoint me! Staff is always friendly and have a smile on their face. Also the free breakfast and coffee are an absolute plus! Short walk to inner harbor and if your are catching an Orioles games the stadium is right across from the hotel! I would definitely stay here again.

So Close to Camden Yards

Room size was surprising larger than we anticipated. We liked the way the sink area was separate from the rest of the toilet. Breakfast was pretty good and had ample variety. Liked the fact that coffee was available throughout the day. We picked this hotel because of its proximity to the ball park. It was perfect for that. The staff was great. Very accommodating and helpful. We stored our luggage and went to the game - the valet charge for parking was about $35 for the day (we arrived at 11am and had to leave by 3pm the next day). It is an added expense but parking for a game is usually expensive anyway. A decent walk (4 blocks or so) to the harbor for younger kids - but our 2 handled it pretty well. If going for an Orioles game - or just in town - I recommend the stadium tour as well. Will stay here again if we are in town.

Weekend getaway to view/ experience Baltimore for the first time

The hotel was a bit pricey for the level of amenities that the hotel provided. Location was great if you we're attending a sporting event, which was not going on at the time as the Orioles were on the road. Parking was a bit over priced with equaling out to 34.00 a night. I would recommend the location, but not sure I would recommend the hotel if I were coming back to attend a game.

Good for the value

Overall, it was a good experience. Will stay at Hampton Inn again. The staff at the front desk was very friendly; room was clean and spacious. The only complaint I have is that the curtains were see-through.

Smoking room, paid for non-smoking room, no help

When you pay over $200 a night for a room you expect at the least to get they type of room you paid for. I checked in Sunday 7/13 for a 2-night stay. When we got to our room we were overwhelmed by the smell of smoke. I immediately called the front desk to arrange to be a put in a non-smoking room as that was what I paid for. I was told that the hotel was sold out and they couldn't move me to a different room. I explained to them that since I paid for non-smoking they needed to figure something out. All they would offer is a spray that would "help with the smell" we went to the Orioles game at 8pm and when we returned the room still reeked of smoke. I called the front desk again and was told that they couldn't do anything besides spray the room again. We woke up with awful headaches and coughs from breathing the air all night long. We were finally able to switch to a non-smoking room Monday afternoon. This is unacceptable in my book and I wont be returning. The ladies that work the desk during the day seem bothered with any question. To be fair the young man that works the desk at night was very apologetic and a nice young man. The valets were great to, especially Keon. Great location for Orioles fans. You are a 2 minute walk to Camden Yards and are literally next to Pickles, the Bullpen and Sliders.

location, location, location

As the title implies, the location of this hotel is awesome. You are literally right across the street from Camden field, walking distance from Lexington market and the inner harbor. The staff is very good. The complimentary breakfast was better than most hotels. The bed was very comfortable. One thing to factor in that I missed when making reservations is that parking is going to set you back at least another $30 overnight, $35 if you valet park.

Nice place for a fantastic weekend getaway

It's been a while since we went to Baltimore and the first time going. With are 2 year old son, the room was small but nice the bed was great the hotel offered a free breakfast but it was always packed and did not seem to be worth the trouble. The staff was great and was very helpful had a great time and would recommend this hotel for a Weekend getaway
