Comfort plus convenience

I stayed at the Hampton Inn and Suites for 7 nights whilst attending a conference. It is a pleasant 10 minute walk from the convention center. A cooked breakfast with many tasty options was included in the very reasonable price. The standard room was large, exceptionally comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff were most helpful. It is the quietest inner city hotel I can recall staying in.

Amazing Breakfast

It was a surprise to see nice breakfast. Besides that, the hotel is as good as others. Rooms are a bit smaller in size.

Great for a Working Trip

About a 10 minute walk from a conference being held at "another hotel" (twice as expensive); about the same to walk to the Inner Harbor mall/restaurants (a steak place close by on Water St, tucked between two bars--a bit pricey but nice, particularly if you like Sinatra. You can also get a free shuttle to Little Italy). Breakfast was great; 24/7 coffee/tea/hot chocolate even better, as temps were FRIGID. Only complaint: no wi-fi on my first night, no TV the next morning. All fixed by that evening. Would recommend/stay again.

Excellent deal in Inner Harbor

I was in Baltimore for work at the Johns Hopkins Medical Campus and the Hampton Inn location was perfect. Although it is not close per se, the commute on the Metro was quick and easy. The hotel also has plenty of restaurants and basic shopping like CVS in the immediate vicinity. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet, and the free breakfast was great. The fitness room was basic but clean and functional, and they didn't charge me for a handful of printouts I did at the business center. Basically the hotel had everything I needed for a week of hard work, and was an excellent deal in a great location.

Everything I needed

I used the Hampton as a central location when I was looking for apartments to live in. The staff was very friendly and even helped in my apartment search. The complementary breakfast was delicious and completely stocked. I would say that the only down side was that the room was on the smaller side but not too small to be uncomfortable. I will continue to suggest the Hampton Inn to anyone who travels to Baltimore.

Fabulous Hotel

Beautiful hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. Loved the mini gym and heated swimming pool. Our room was great and spacious. Location was perfect to travel to the harbour area (just 5 min walk) which hosts the national aquarium, museums, shops. Also the Circulator (free bus service in Baltimore city....yes free) bus stop is 2 mins walk away. All in all the hotel was beautiful, had wonderful breakfasts, lovely staff and made our holiday that little bit more special.....

Birthday sleepover party

I went to this hotel to have a birthday sleepover for my daughter turning 14. The front desk clerk Daniel and Jameel was friendly when I came in and they greeted me but when Daniel asked, "what brings me there?" I told him why and he saw 6 black girls and just profiled me by making me sign a piece of paper about having parties and a disturbing tone told me, " if they have to ask us more than 3 times to lower our voices we was going to have to leave" I reassured him that we were going to behave and we wont be disturbing to the other guests. Jameel didn't look to happy to see my girls and I he had a look on his face like we was going to get on his nerves. Other than that the breakfast was delicious and the fitness center was nice and the bed and room was ok the toilet needs to be fixed and Wi-Fi didn't work. the staff was friendly.
