BEST WESTERN PLUS Envy Hotel

Situated in the middle of 2 buildings & 2 blocks from parking . . . the walk did not impress me. Especially when I happened to look down an alley, and saw some huge rats on my to the entrance. Windows in the room bore curtains to hide the side of another building. So, don't expect a beautiful view of the city. But, the room was pretty nice nevertheless. The front desk attendant was knowledgeable & the full breakfast was good. My final opinion . . . the hotel needs to be relocated.

When I arrive at night the man in front desk was very helpful to advice the street parking rules. The room is clean. Free breakfast is good to have. However when I checked out the next morning the different man at front desk charged the room expense and tax etc. to my credit card, which is double charge because I already paid via Or-bitz. I thought it may be the charge included in Or-bitz total quote. But when I checked on credit card record when I come back to home I found it was extra charge. This is definitely not a Amenity.

This hotel was generally good; however, my refrigerator was not working and the quality of the breakfast was lower than average.

While room rate was good-value & location close-in, room rug was very dirty, leaves & stuuf under desk.. Nail clipping are still behind bedside table!! Yuk! Next time I'll pay more for cleaner room.

This was a really good experience!! The front desk staff were nice, the room was AMAZING and the bed was sooo comfortable.

This hotel, though modest, has all the essentials for typical business travelers who usually only need a place to refresh and rest. The hotel is located within one block to several convenient stores, a Starbuck-quality cafe and a Burger King. As most parts of Baltimore have office buildings only, the hotel neighborhood is relatively desirable. The continental breakfast is of standard quality and provides a convenient option.

I would stay here again if the price was right, but would look around elsewhere first. The neighborhood isn't great and my room had a sketchy feeling. For example, my door didn't close correctly. I believe it was once open by a pry-bar. In addition, the bathroom door was a used room door (including an old card swipe) . I felt nervous about leaving valuables in the room. That said, my stay there for five days was totally uneventful, and the staff were very pleasant.

I was not sure of the hotel when I saw the location. I was assured that it was recently renovated and would be fine by a local tour guide while on a business trip. I should have trusted my instincts. The rooms are tiny, dirty and not comfortable. The full breakfast was non existant and the reported workdesk was a tiny round stand. The walls cannot have any insulation and the room beside mine had a crying cat that made an afternoon nap impossible. Never again will I spend my money on this hotel at this location. The changing 'mood' lights did not lighten my mood! The lack of sleep made it easy to run out the door at 6 AM to avoid any more time in the hotel. Total disappointment!!

Room was fine though towel supply fluctuated; public parking reasonably priced; good breakfast; a little raucous with activity at the front lobby.

This hotel really surprised me. I was kinda worried about the location but the interior was perfect. We don't have any complaints
