Relatively basic given the price

For the price, the accommodations were relatively basic. But the indoor pool area was nice and spacious, and had a bar/restaurant located above the vicinity which was very convenient. The hotel was also very family friendly, which was great.

Great for a short stay, and make sure to try The Cafe!

First time in The Cape and had no idea where to stay. The location of this hotel is on a busy strip with many hotels, restaurants, mini golf, and ice-cream shops. If traveling with kids it is a great location. The hotel also had awesome amenities such as the pools and arcade. It is set back off the road so noise from cars on road was not an issue. The restaurant at the hotel was our favorite part about it! We had breakfast there 3/5 days of our stay and loved it! Great food and low prices! The staff at the hotel were great as well! We would stay there again if we were doing a weekend get-away but for an extended stay if you are up in the air about renting a hotel or house, we are going to go the house route next time. Our only real complaint was that the room could have been a little cleaner but is was not bad enough to make us leave. Hope this helps!

The Yarmouth House was excellent if you are looking for a fancy restaurant. The Lobster Boat was wonderful too and had a great variety of meals with average prices.

Bumped

We were bumped and sent to a two star Town and Country motel next door with a breakfast voucher at their Cape Point Hotel. They said we were relocated because our room had plumbing problems. I don't know if the fact that we were only staying for a part of a weekend had something to do with it. The Town and Country was a suite but it was just a larger old dingy room. They made a copy of my drivers license and did not return the copy to me. I am not use to this kind of treatment. The bed sheets did not fit the old bed mattress. The shower curtains had mold growing. I could not sleep knowing that bed bugs might be attacking us. The breakfast was a nice gesture but didn't compensate for the anxious lost of sleep. Both the Town and Country and Cape Point are a series of large two story buildings similar to college dorms or army barracks.

Great stay at the Cape Point Hotel

I booked at the Cape Point for 2 nights and was very happy with our stay. The location is close to local beaches & attractions at a great price. The staff was friendly and we were pleasantly surprised by all of the extra amenities. Our room was clean and recently renovated with comfy beds & flat screen TV. No complaints! They had a nice outdoor pool and breakfast cafe on site. I loved the homemade corned beef hash. Very happy, we will be back next summer!

Good value, great facilities

The front desk staff were exceptionally helpful. The pools and facilities were good, the room was clean. Not a new or exceptionally beautiful place, but it was a very good value for the price.

Average

It was an average hotel. We got a great price and stayed for 5 nights. Lots of restraints close by and family fun activities. The hotel needs a better bar. Rooms were clean when we arrived but the cleaning was just ok during our stay. Beds and pillows were comfortable and we slept well during our stay. I would recommend this hotel if you want to save some money.
