Perfect hotel for first Cape Cod Getaway
I was very pleased with this hotel, the rooms were very clean and the beds were really comfy. It could use a little updating but overall I really enjoyed my experience here. The pool was very nice, probably one of the nicest indoor pools I've ever been in, definitely a family friendly place. And I like that they have the cafe for a nice breakfast in the morning. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice hotel that's affordable yet offers more then some chain hotels.

Pool Is Much Colder Than Past Visits
Pool is considerably colder than past visits. Staff indicated that management dropped the pool temperature from past years to save energy costs. If you enjoyed a very warm pool on past vists please be prepared for a much colder pool.

overnight escape
This was our second time here. We like the pool, the louhge that overlooks the pool was only open Fri/Sat night. We stayed on Sun. The room was basic, clean, though the headboards were dusty, and the tub could use a spray of clorox. The staff were nice and friendly. We got a discounted price for the night and it was worth it, we would stay there again. It's right on 28 close to beaches hiking and biking trails. We drove to Wellfleet about 45 min and walked the bike trails.

Week end away
The only complaint we had was with the bathroom fan. Extremely noisy but according to staff "they are all like that". Staff, restaurant, pool all great. Quiet room made for good sleeping.

The hotel was great - booking website, however, was not. Although my online confirmation was correct, booking website had made the actual res with the hotel for the following day, so the hotel had no res for us for the actual check-in day. We were just lucky the hotel wasn't full.

Better than expected
The room was cleaner than expected, larger than expected, and brighter than expected. There were more pillows in the room than expected, always a good thing. (My lady is a Pillow Princess, and even with her hogging her usual four, there were still two for me, without having to ask the desk for more. The only thing really missing was an in-room coffee maker, but there was a coffee cart in the lobby, so it was available first thing in the morning. If I were again simply looking for a "place to stay," I would return; probably not for an extended "resort style" vacation.

Feeling Cheated
Not worth the money
Cape Cod is beautiful but this motel is not. Location is decent but it is on the main road in an area where there are several defunct businesses and it looks dismal. My family of 4 stayed in a ground level room that was dark and dingy. The toilet was not secured to the floor well, the dresser drawer was broken, the air conditioner was good, but too loud to keep on at night, and the beds were lumpy. The room was too small, and afforded no privacy to change clothes. You had to squeeze between the toilet and tub to close the bathroom door. There was a sliding door that opened to a grassy area were people were hanging out and smoking, so we had to leave the door and the curtain closed. The indoor pool was disgusting. The outdoor pool was Ok, but there were not enough chairs and the chairs that were there looked old and stained, and their towel system was just plain annoying. You have to obtain and return pool towels to the Front desk on the opposite end of the property. The front desk help was not too helpful, and to top things off we payed $20 more per night than people walking in off of the street. Shame on them for overcharging and classifying this as a 3 star hotel. We might go back to Cape Cod, but not to this "hotel".

Basic accomodations
Fine if you just need a place to sleep or have kids, but with other nicer hotels right nearby, you should check before booking.

Beach bum028
Couple- mid week getaway three nights
We spent our two days at the beach so we didnt use either pool but they looked very nice. The hotel was very convient to the places we like to eat and the things we like to do at night along route 28. Also, close to the beach. The bed was very comfortable. Our biggest little issue seemed to be the spotty wi-fi. It was fine the first night and next morning, but the two following mornings weren't working at all. This was slightly inconvient but not enough for us to complain or ask if there was problem. I had nothing that pressing to do on the Internet. We thought the room was very clean-well kept.
