A reasonable place to stay

The MidTown Hotel is in a pretty good location and offers inexpensive accommodaitons. This is the place to stay if you want to be in Boston and save money on your room. It is not the place if you want luxury and lots of service. I would go there again.

A pleasant one-night stay

Amiable staff, very clean and spacious room with enough amenities. Areas to be improved: noise of air conditioner, and poor sound insulation. Slam of doors a bit annoyed.

Bad Rooms

First off, for a female it's bad when there is not a plug in the bathroom! and I wouldn't call it a bathroom, more like a small closet with a sink and tub. The hotel in general appeared to be very old with outdated everything. Even the exterior looked like an old motel. The staff was very nice and helpful, but the hotel and value was not up to par. The location was great as I was there for a conference, it was a 6 minute walk to the convention center.

Quick business trip

The hotel is in a great location -- accessible to the train and the bus. I was able to save a lot of money by taking public transporation. The staff is great, very friendly and accomodating. The room, however, left alot to be desired. There was a strong chemical odor in the room, the chairs were stained as was the carpet. I recommend the hotel for an overnight stay but would stay somewhere else for longer trips. Again, the staff is really great.

Good Average Hotel

It was not too bad of a hotel it doesn't offer alot of amenities like breakfast, fitness, etc. but if you don't care for those or need any of those amenites and you want to save money on loging for a couple of days then it's a good hotel for you to stay at in Boston with alot of places around to see with the trolley.
