Great location, comfort and service

Superior King room. Check in process went smoothly and quickly. Valet was a good deal at $30/day. We went on a weekend day, I don't know if it is more on weekdays. Room was good size, comfortable. Nice bathroom. Perfectly clean. Bathrobes, slippers, chocolate, large flat screen TV were nice amenities. Hotel has healthclub and indoor pool (did not use#. Also several restaurants and a hip bar, most ly for younger people #I am 62). Loved the afternoon high tea. Ayana, the restaurant manager for the tea was courteous and to our surprise was able to arrange a gluten free and dairy free high tea. Cabs were always available and the doorman and concierge were most helpful. Would love to stay there again.

Wonderful overnight (with minor hiccups)

Arrived a couple hours before check in time but the extremely friendly reception go us into a room early (always nice). The lobby was spotless and well organized. The valet was friendly and efficient. The room was very nicely detailed and decorated and a good size. Beautifully done bed and bedding. Excellent HVAC controls. Turn down service was exceptional. The Bond is a great place for a drink. Minor probs - hotel car didn't have a driver so we couldn't use and directions leaving hotel were poor.

Best value

Location is obviously not ideal and the room is not 5 star. But that being said the service and amenities make this hotel something special, especially at the price point. The in room dining was absolutely delicious. The hotel service was inpecable. If you call the front deal for something, there will be someone at your door in under 5 minutes. The spa which is in the hotel is also fantastic. A 1hr couples massage followed by a dip in the whirlpool ended a great stay. Would highly recommend this hotel!!

Elegant and Comfortable, But a Bit Stuffy

Stayed for the first time at the Langham. It is a very nice traditional hotel. Staff well trained, excellent rooms and beautiful large, if perhaps too opulent, bar. Nothing exciting but well appointed. Terrific location for business in the financial district. Otherwise location is not terribly convenient for Boston sites. Room rate consistent with quality and reasonably priced, though not sure what rates are during the tourist season.

Getaway

Very friendly staff. We actually got an upgrade when we arrived. The hotel was very clean and nice. It was a remodeled Federal Reserve Bank at one time. The lobby is very pretty. Also, there was a great Bar called "Bond" that was fun and very nice. The amienities were very average for a hotel like this. I would stay here again.

Nice hotel, friendly staff! No complimentary wifi or continental breakfast...

This was a nice, clean hotel with friendly staff. The only thing that I did not like was that they charged for wifi. This has been the first hotel I have stayed at where wifi was not complimentary. Also, they charged for continental breakfast as well.
