maybe my favorite hotel ever
I travel a lot for business, and stay in some places that are pretty bad. This is the opposite. The reason is simple: it doesn't feel like a hotel. It feels like a very small apartment. A NICE, well appointed very small apartment. Great location, behind the Pru. Gas fireplace and full kitchen in the room. Nice simple breakfast. The exercise room is good. The staff was wonderful. All in all, it was a terrific experience. I can't think of a nicer hotel.

Boston Trip for My Wife and Me
The location of this hotel was great, and it was aesthetically pleasing. If you get a Subway pass or Charlie Ticket, you can get pretty much anywhere worth going. This was my first trip to Boston and when I go back, I will be staying at the Inn at St. Botolph again for sure!

Home Away From Home
Charming, quiet, very nicely decorated. Apartment-like accommodations (refrigerator, stove ,dishwasher) in a lovely historic neighborhood. We even had a gas log fireplace. Not your typical hotel-no lobby, no concierge staff, no room service but we loved it. Very convenient location. It is a block away from world-class shopping, great restaurants, etc. The staff (2 in office) was friendly and helpful. Complementary breakfast was good...I loved the cappuccino maker!

Nice Inn
Inn is in a great location and we had the 2 bedroom suite . The atmosphere --no big lobby --gives you the feeling of your own little apratment in the middle of a back bay neighborhood Downside on the 2 bedroom suite is the second bedroom which is smalland only has a full size trundle bed --but its comfortable . My only problem was with the staff .We were need in of asmall extension cord and the girl at the desk not only was curt about not having one she never looked , just said no and turned her back and went back to work --No suggestion of where we might find one etc . She defintlety needs guest reations training --or a new job

Inn at St. Botolph, Boston
I stayed here while dropping my son off at his new college. I loved the location, the keyless entry and the stylish look of the rooms. Bed was super-comfy, as was the couch. Priced affordably, especially since there is a kitchenette, which I used for lunches and making one dinner to save lots on food costs. Last visit to Back Bay, I stayed at a similar price hotel with old rooms in need of new look and furniture, no kitchenette, grumpy staff. Inn at St. Botolph is my go-to for visiting my son in Boston!

a good kind of different
Felt like living in someone's condo - nice living room area, full kitchen, and very comfortable bed. Solid and free wifi. Dresser and 2 closets. There was a big TV too. Staff was great. Check-in/out was very easy. Breakfast was bagels, oatmeal, english muffins, and yogurt. Only thing keeping it from 5-star: - very brief, minor noise sometimes in the night - some minor repairs (i.e. shower door didn't close all the way)

Just Great
Very nice place! Great location - right in the heart of Boston. Very close to Newbury street or the many charming restaurants on Tremont Street. Close to the Prudential Shopping mall too. The hotel was clean, with beautiful interior decoration. The staff was very polite. All in all we had great experience. Very highly recommended.

Beautiful Suite in the Heart of Back Bay
This upscale studio suite was perfect. Great location and lovely, modern decor. Quiet location but noisy refrigerator. There is no staff on location, but that was no problem for former Boston residents. The staff were great by telephone.
