Poor Service and inaccurate information
When I booked the hotel I was told we would be able to see the fireworks from the window facing the harbour. When I checked in I was told that We would not be able to see from our window. It took until our check-out to get an answer regarding a rebate. I spent approximately 2 hours at the desk and phone to accomplish a $50 return. When we pulled out the sofa bed it had not been cleaned for sometime from the dust and peanuts we found under it. Lastly there was no bell service due to a wedding.

with apologies to clint eastwood, this place was "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly"
THE GOOD location is right in the heart of some great restaurants and other attractions. it's close to the silver line trains and the airport. the free wifi was iffy, but the free LAN was wonderful! the bose radios were a very nice touch. THE BAD i'm not familiar with parking rates in boston, so this may be normal; however, charging guests $34 a day to park seemed high. the door to the room doesn't shut quietly at all. every time one closes, it's with a loud thump. also, the toilets had a very loud *BAM* noise to them when flushed. THE UGLY maybe i caught them on a bad weekend, but the place was *NOISY* on saturday night. thumping music coming from rooms next to, above and below mine ran well into the night (4am), doors slamming and drunk guys on cell phones in the hallway ("what?" "i'm on the 6th floor." "yeah, if i can find my keys." "WHAT?") were a real problem. OVERALL a nice enough place, but given what my experience was like, it was definitely not worth the cost at all.

Nice location!
The location was great! Within walking distance or bycyling distance to many local attractions! The parking was a bit pricey but doible. The staff were very accomidating and pleasant. The rooms were neat and clean, quiet as well! Did not get a chance to enjoy the inhouse Restaurant but the menu and atmosphere looked great!

Nice hotel, not great soundproofing
I was at the Seaport for a family wedding. Unfortunately, my room experience was not good. There was a baby crying in the next room.

Boston Trip May 2010
The hotel was nice but nothing special. The brochures and room descriptions do not match with what you really see. The furniture in the rooms are very 70s. The television was new when the Andy Griffith show was being aired. Good harbour views but other views are just tacky.

The best part of this hotel is it is very close to the Whiskey Priest. A really nice and clean Irish Pub. If you are looking for an Irish Pub with the stale smell of smoke and acohol this is not the place for you. But, if you are looking for a clean pleace with good food, ample servings and well priced. This is it

Unfriendly staff
I had booked a room with two double beds and guaranteed late arrival. When we arrived after midnight, we ended up with a full size bed and a pull-out couch. When I called the front desk, I was told that the hotel could not accommodate me because it was fully booked. I was advised to check again in the morning when other guests checked out. When I called the following day, I was again told that the hotel was fully booked. No one was willing to make any concessions. I finally spoke with the general manager who agreed to remove the self parking fees for my inconvenience.

Unusual Place
This is a good hotel for Business meetings, but not for family fun. The lady at the desk treated us like we should already know where to get the Bean Town Trolley and many other things. Not very helpful at all. No pick-up to or from the airport.

Pretty Decent Stay
The hotel is little pricey, so I had basic expectations but didn't really get anything without asking for it. For example, when I checked in I wasn't given any literature about the area, activities or anything. I was just given my room key and that was it, for my 3-day stay. I came back down later to request the information and it was given to me. The front desk staff was minimally helpful, they never really gave detailed assistance for anything. The other staff at the hotel was pretty good (i.e. lounge and restaurant).
