The Omni Parker House is proud to have the best location in the city of Boston. The property is situated along the Freedom Trail at the foot of Beacon Hill and the Boston Common and Public Garden and next to Downtown Crossing. We are minutes away from Logan International Airport and all major subway lines are within one block of the hotel. The property is near the Theater District and Faneuil Hall plus cultural attractions including the Museum of Fine Art and New England Aquarium. The only aspect more famous than our location is our culinary legacy. From hiring the first celebrity French Chef in America, Chef Sanzian, in 1855 to launching the culinary careers of Emeril Lagasse, Lydia Shire, and Jasper White, to being the birthplace of Boston Cream Pie, Parker House rolls and the term Scrod. Today, our Executive Chef prepares classic New England cuisine with contemporary flair in our three outlets, including fine dining in Parker's Restaurant and lighter, more casual fare in The Last Hurrah and Parker's Bar, as well as banquet feasts for groups up to 400. Our luxury hotel has 551 guestrooms and suites and 18 function rooms including the Rooftop ballroom, with spectacular views of the city skyline. Additional hotel features include concierge service and valet parking, fitness center, room service, coffee shop, business center and wireless internet. Whether you are traveling with a partner, family, friends, or traveling for business, our timeless charm, modern amenities, culinary creations and gracious hospitality guarantee a wonderful stay for all. Hotel is 100 percent smoke free.

Loved the hotel's convenient location!

We (two couples) had only 1.5 day (2 nights) to see Boston (and Cambridge), so the hotel's proximity to many tourist's attractions was a huge plus. Concierge was very friendly and helpful.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

Many attractions (Boston Commons, Old State House, Quincy Market, Waterfront, several good restaurants, etc.) are within easy walking distance.

Girls weekend away

Fantastic customer service as soon as you step in the front door. Accessible to subway, buses and waterfront. Only downside is that you have to be a member of Omni to receive the free wi fi and other perks. Front desk did not mention or encourage you to sign up to become a member, therfore it would not shock you once you receive the invoice of $10 for a short use of the wifi.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Go to Quincy market to purchase bus tours as the hotel only offers the more expensive tours a difference of $20 per person.

Street Noise

The Omni Parker House has wonderful atmosphere, the staff are exceptional, but we had a room next to the street, and we heard the cars, sirens, and even people on the street. The rooms are not very sound proof and it seemed like the people next to us, were in the room with us. As for location, it is a perfect location for walking to Quincy Market, the public transportation, and other tourist attractions. What made the stay was the staff, they were exceptional, whether you needed directions, or information, or tickets to any event, they all rate an A+. For anyone wanting to stay that is a light sleeper, you would need to request an inside room. The accommodations were excellent, and the room service was too, so overall I would most defintely stay there again.
