Nice hotel with good amenities. Room are a little small and the walls are pretty thin. Beds are comfortable and if you join their hotel program (free), you can get free wi fi during your stay.

Great older hotel. However the walls are paper thin and the maid woke us up to see if we had checked out!! It was only 7:30! Loved where it was located and the ambiance of the old style hotel.

Everything fine
Booking on a Friday in the Financial district is a bargain. The hotels in the area offer great rates on a Friday. Boston is small vs. New York, so it doesn't really matter that you are not exactly where you need to be: most areas (like the Theater district) are a nice walk, and the T is pretty good as well. The hotel was fine, but didn't offer a gym which would have been useful. Staff were great with directions. Room wasn't new and wasn't 5 star, but it was clean and comfortable and the price was great.

If you want to be in Boston
My family has been going here since the second world war. So I kind of like the continuity. But as we all know, things do change over time, and lets face it, The Omni Parker was built in 1927 not 2012.. But, if you want to stay at a clean, comfortable hotel in Boston proper with terrific easy central access to all of Boston both old and new, with a great friendly staff, at a reasonable price, I'm not clear why you would want to stay anywhere but the Parker.

Time-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
Easy access to and from the rapid transit system of Boston including all Orange, Red, and Green lines allows for easy travel in and around Boston without the hassle of driving in a city not designed for automobiles..

Great location
Great location in regards to walking to most of Boston's tourist attractions. Accommodations were very good, price paid for a weekend night was $122 inc tax. Valet parking is $40\day...but parked in a nearby garage for $18/24 hrs weekend rate.
