Hyatt Harborside

It is an excellent hotel for Business Traveller who wants to stay by the airport. I have booked for its value and the star rating, but my daughter and I was visiting colleges in the area. Chose this hotel for the views and waterside location. Need navigation system to get to the hotel, otherwise you may end up in airport terminal. You can also take water taxi to get to Boston Central Business District and then street taxi there, thus saving time. I had my own rental car, so I did not use either taxi.

This hotel was very nice - the room was wonderful, with a view of the harbor......But anything that us usually included at a lower star hotel was extra. The Internet was $12.95 a day! There was a water taxi in front of the hotel which took us to downtown Boston which was very convienent. It was$17/round trip. The parking was $34/day....another expense. In spite of the extra expense, we enjoyed our stay there.

Though the hotel was located near the airport, you do not hear any of the noises from the planes at all. The food at the restaurant was really delicious and the concierge was very helpful. The only thing is that it is not as conveniently located and we had to rely on the hotel shuttle to get to the subway station to get to downtown Boston.

Lacking that special thing. Was uncomfortable. Felt old and in need of renovation. Minimal contact with staff who were largely aloof. The drapes are old and should be changed. A total lack of color or creativity within the rooms and too costly for little or no service delivery. Plus I hated the food. Wish I went elsewhere. Location is awkward and if you have to go downtown. You may spend as much as 35 dollars on a taxi ride.

Clean , comfortable and convenient! The only drawback is that they only had one van for airport srevice. This may have been due to the late hour of night and very early morning departure.

We drove down on a snowy Saturday. The Valet told us he would take care of our car, and gave us a card to contact him. We proceeded to the front desk and we told that they would check the Flight for us. What great service. There were computers to check flight status also. We learned that Logan was closed but was to open at 11pm. The computers said our flight was on time. Dinner was delicious, our waitress fantastic.. Our wake up call at 4;30 let us know our flight was canceled. Great hotel, bad experience with now no vacation.

From top to bottom - beginning to end - I loved the place and the people. It doesn't get any better.

I flew into Boston very late one night then had to catch another flight in the AM. I was disappointed that I waited 30 mins for the free shuttle, since when I called they said it would be less than 15 mins. I stood outside FREEZING in 20 degree and windy weather for 25 mins. It was no one's fault apparently since the driver got "stuck" at a rental car return (?at 11:30pm?), BUT...they "comp'd" a $25 breakfast in their amazing grill, the next morning. It was gourmet and delicious. Excellent customer service.

The hotel was comfortable and the staff was very helpful. The TV did not work but once I mentioned it they fixed it. The food was good but there was no fridge in the room. I had brought with me some yoghurt and I was not able to put it in a fridge. It was good value for the price though, the view is great and with the water taxi you can be in the heart of Boston in a few minutes.
