Great Location, Great Staff - Would stay again
Perfect location and the staff was wonderful - Especially Housekeepers, Bellmen (William went above and beyond when I really needed a lot of help), and Car Valets. Had a terrific stay. We had a several rooms, all booked separately for a college reunion group. Surprised that the TV was old. Also had a big problem with hot water not always available. I WOULD RETURN for another stay.

noisy
The television needs to be upgraded. Teenagers or whomever were partying all night,, made alot of noise coming and going. So it made for an unpleasant night. I overheard someone else inthe lobby saying the same thing,, that they didn't get any sleep.

Won't be back
Typically we love Marriott, but this hotel was the worst one we have ever been to. When we walked into the room, we thought about switching to another hotel, but were pressed for time. Our toilet wasn't working correctly, the room was dark and small, and the bathroom shower had mold in it. The other couple we were with suspected their sheets were not new. They put a mark on them and asked that they be changed. When they returned to their room, the bed was made, but the sheets were not changed!

nice staff, great location!
The staff was very nice and professional. The room was totally clean and nice. The location was excellent as it is closed to the subway station, the Park and Macy. I have one complaint though. The room was too cold and eventhough I tried to adjust to warmer. It didn't work. Guests should turn the air condition off and you will be fine all day. I didn't want to turn it off because I still needed some air flow. I was stupid. Anyway, it's worth my money and I will come back again.

Great location and value
Everything was the way I would expect in a better case, exept the lobby was even over promising and the only valet parking was $40/day . They'll probably offer you to park it yourself across the street for $34/day (which also has flex rates for up to certain hours). Overall it's a unique and pleasant hotel to stay at.

Loved the hotel and most of the staff.
The hotel is very nice, the room was beautiful and the staff at the front desk was extraordinary. The staff in the restaurant, not so much. The hostess was gracious and wonderful, the young lady that bussed the tables was very efficient and polite. The waitress was terrible. She left myself and another guest sitting around waiting on her to get ready to take care of us because she was busy showing off whatever was so wonderful on her cellphone. He and I compared notes to assure ourselves that we had actually sat down and were waiting to be helped. I motioned to the young lady that bussed the tables, she came immediately and I asked for the waitress. I received an irritated glance from the waitress and the young lady that bussed the tables was delegated to see what I wanted; the waitress never returned and I did not leave a tip. I did notice that a gentleman in a very nice suit arrived and everyone jumped to attention and began to immediately appreciate their job security. Overall, I will return to the hotel in the future but I think I'll have breakfast elsewhere.

Meh
Lacking attention to detail. Carded entry readers often illiterate, which means getting trapped on your floor, on ground floor or outside the hotel. The latter was rarely a problem as large glass entry doors made it easy to spot guests fumbling with keycards. Lobby shows traces of a finer establishment, wish guest rooms were fitted to match. Price and proximity are a plus.

Thinking Cup = great coffee Parish Café = incredible sandwiches Stop in the café, then meander through the commons, smell the flowers, cross the lake, walk along the willow trees to find Parish right around the southwest corner of the garden on the north side of Boyleston St.

Not Impressive, Over-Priced
This is a great location, two blocks from Boston Common in the Theater District. This hotel was over-priced and parking was an additional $40!!. The room was tiny and not very clean. The hotel guide book was empty. The television check-out did not work. The building could only do heat or air conditioning depending on the time of year.
