Ok Stay
We were only there for a couple nights and didn't expect to be in the hotel much so it was basically what we needed. Breakfast was so-so, but the internet and TV were good. Microwave and the fridge were great to have!

Not Pleased II
Not Pleased II
I was not pleased with the cleanliness of the room - particularly the carpet. The bathroom was so small that the towel rack was in the way of the toilet. There were opening windows which was nice, but no screens. The complimentary breakfast was typical and OK. The location was excellent for my purpose as it is close to Boston College. Overall the room was way over priced for the quality of the experience.

Very expensive room for a motel feel
The front desk staff were very friendly & efficient. The room came with breakfast which was fine staff were there making sure supplies were full. The room was very clean but the beds were very lumpy. Two dresser draws randomly would open after the first night and would not remain closed. Parking was challenging but free. Hotel is several miles from city center and not quite on main road as address would indicate, it is behind a closed gas station. I felt the room was very expensive for where it was located & no amenities except breakfast.

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
I would highly recommend Eastern Standard restaurant, 525 Commonwealth Ave., very good food. I would also recommend Giacomo's in North End on 355 Hanover Street. Italian food was excellent!! Service is rushed and seating is crowded they don't take reservations but waiting in line outside to get in is worth it! Haven't had Italian food like that since in Italy worth the wait & elbow rubbing.

Allright hotel for basic needs
I was travelling on business. The staff at the hotel was great! We had an issue with the door not locking, but they changed our room right away after attempting to fix the problem, The sink went down really slow and they did a good effort in trying to fix it (every day) however the problem did not re-solve. (maybe they needed a plumber, not a drano bottle). We needed to be on our way before breakfast started and they were completely fine with us grabbing some earlier than the scheduled time. We did run out of hot water on our last day which was not good : (. Overall I guess average. I do not travel much so I do not have much to compare it with.

One Night Stay
At first my room was not showing up as reserved which worried me. However the staff there was very helpful in helping me solving the dilemma . the parking at the hotel was all over the place. I didnt like that there was only one place for ice. I thought it was too spread out for someone to go to. especially when you have to park in an area that far away from your room. i have been to other hotels and have preferred the traditional set up of entering the front door and having the hotels above the main entrance. i did not like the set up of this hotel and would not return again.

Overpriced
Only 2 restaurants in walking distance, carpets and wallpaper old and dirty, continental breakfast starts at 7:00 a.m. on a weekday, no ammenities, temperature in the room was freezing upon arrival. $169 for one night. Less than fair.

Convenient to BC, BU and Downtown
Right on the B-Line of the T, with quick access to several universities. Plenty of off-street parking, clean, friendly, safe. Staff is very helpful and knowledgable about the area. Walking distance to Whole Foods and several eateries. Has Comm Ave address, but actually a block off behind a gas station. Quiet residential area. Good-sized rooms, although baths are kinda small.
