Staybridge Suites NEW ORLEANS FRENCH QTR/DWTN

Enjoyed stay very much. Great location. Convenient to the River, casino, and French Quarter. Staff very helpful. Would not hesitate to stay again. Hot breakfast was decent. Room was spacious. Used public parking lot across from hotel, which was also convenient.

fantastic continental breakfast and also happy hour. they had wonderful food also at their happy hour. staff were especially friendly. rooms were so clean and loved the set up. staff were very friendly and courteous and also helpful. i would highly recommend this hotel. i plan to stay at staybridge on any future trips i make. within walking distance to bourbon & royal street as well as harrah casino, mississippi ferryboat ride and also the aquarium. there were 4 of us staying at hotel which included my adult daughter and adult son & wife.

Huge room with a full kitchen,nice view of downtown New Orleans

I stayed at this hotel during a conference that was hosted in New Orleans. The location was really convenient to almost everything. I didn't have a rental car, but I found that I could walk to the convention center and to the French Quarter as well. This hotel is also located about a block from a street car stop is you need to get somewhere futher out. As far as the rooms and staff, there is nothing extraordinary but everything was clean, and the front desk was helpful.

MANGER NOT MANAGING!!! This hotel is a ripoff. I am still waiting on a manger to contact me but they play games.

I'm still waiting on a refund of $181 for a night I never stayed there and check out early. I was told I will be getting a call from the supervisor. I already have friend asking about my stay here and I told them I am having this one problem that has yet to be address properly with me. This is clearly highway robbery and not good business. I'm still waiting on a call. They told me it may take 2 days before a manger will call me. That a long time and the 2 days have pass and I haven't received a call yet!

Best I have ever experience in all my years of travel. I have recommended to hotel to manypeople since my visit there. Love it!!!

The Staybridge is in a relatively new and attractive building, about 10 minutes walk from the convention center. It has a gym, a small pool and very good breakfast. However, the management and maintenance are HORRIBLE. --The thermostat in our room could not be changed, and despite repeated request for fixing it it remained unusable the whole time we were there. --The water dispenser in the gym was broken the whole time we were there, and despite promises to have it fixed remained broken. --The dining room is kept at around 85 degrees, and despite repeated requests remained freezing the whole time we were there. --The room was never done unless we asked for it REPEATEDLY, or not done at all. -- The elevator button on our floor (fifth) barely worked, and required repeated presses until sometimes it will light up. --The light bulb in the hallway near the elevator was flickering, as if on its last leg. This lasted for about 3 days but no one replaced it by the time we left. It seems that the staff and management count on the proximity to the Convention Center, and think that the rest does not count. We HATED it (we were there for five nights). NEVER AGAIN!

Good for longer stays, for just a few days I would look next time for something inside the french quarter.

Our room was not available until well after 4pm, due to the Essence Music Festival attendees having checked out that day. Still, this hotel offered free wifi, a full kitchen and a nice breakfast and is reasonably close to Canal Street.
