We have found our perfect N.O. hotel!
As our family was driving out of New Orleans, we listed the top reasons we loved this hotel. (Really!) 1. Location - close to where we needed to be (the Mexican consulate), but also not too far from Canal St. and the museums. 2. The room was lovely and clean. 3. The kids loved the pool, although it is a tad small, it's perfect for the kids. 4. Free breakfast! That's almost impossible to find in the area, and it was very filling! Waffles, eggs, sausage, fruit, and much more. 5. The staff was super nice and seemed to want to make our stay enjoyable. 6. There are TVs in the mirrors of the lobby' s bathrooms. (That's from the kids.) 7. Nice little fitness area with treadmills and stationary bikes 8. Hot tub 9. Free WiFi The only downfall for me was that the bathroom in the room didn't have a fan, and I almost suffocated after taking a hot shower. But that's livable. really seemed to want to make our stay enjoyable.

Few hotels offer good free breakfasts in New Orleans. It's definitely a money-saver if you can fill up with a hearty breakfast before going out to explore this beautiful city.

Festival experience
Even though you are not right on Bourbon street, this hotel is the perfect place to stay with just a quick cab ride to Jackson Square. We stayed here during the 2013 French Quarter Festival and slept great! We would definitely go back to this hotel again.

Excellent Value
We were very pleased with the hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. This was our first stay at a Springhill Suites and our experience really caused us to now seek (Springhill Stes) in other markets....

Fun 5 day Footbal trip
We went for 5 days to see the Saints game. Loc ation was great because the hotel is only 5 blocks to the casino and Canal St. We used the pool and whirl pool.. that is what you need after all the time walking to the bars and stores. There are always taxis outside to take you to French Quarter. Rooms were cleaned regularly and new towels when requested. The free breakfast was good but not great and the staff didn't care if you were 2 minutes late (not even apple)you're not getting anything to eat. the front desk was helpful making suggestions to eat... didnt have a problem with finding a bar. Great Trip!!

Time-saving tip:
Long walk from hotel
Take a taxi to the French Market ($8.00) area and then start your walk towards the hotel stopping off to eat and and drink then the 10 - 15 blocks will be more enjoyable and you would have walked off the food and drink.

Good Place to stay in NOLA when everything is crowded
We had a quite pleasing stay at this hotel located close to the Convention Center. We were there for the southern decadence back in NOLA. It was the only room that could accomodate 4 people for a decent price The goods : Clean room, free breakfast, free wifi, pool The bads: located a little far from the french quarter so you ll have to walk little (the cab fare are under 10 dollars). the parking for the car was a little expensive but it was during a special event so we dealt with it

Positive Experience
Great location, clean, wonderful air system if you have allergies - was central air instead of window unit. 1st floor access great to pool, weight room, whirlpool/spa. Only draw back - if you book to arrive on weekend - get there early - They ran out of parking. Had to park 1 1/2 block away and front desk man didn't feel the need to share street map or breakfast details for the week times - said ended at 10 got up monday and breakfast ended at 9 am. Still was given some cereal/ milk & yogurt for my kids. Overall positive experience. =)

Not worth it
Had 2 rooms. When you opened sofa bed you could not move to door without climbing over it. Neither room was ever cleaned thoroughly. Bathroom floors not mopped. Breakfast ok but who wants to stand in line 20 minutes for waffles. Buy another waffle iron! Staff not knowledgeable about area. Crazy to pay $20+ for parking. Pool space was uninviting - kids didn't want to go in!

Great Hotel Experience!
Had a great experience staying at this hotel. The hotel was beautifully decorated, rooms were very comfortable, nice breakfast & parking was very reasonable and safe. It was within walking distance from the French Quarter and shopping areas, as well as art galleries (a plus). I would definitely stay at this hotel again upon my return to New Orleans.
