Prince conti

The hotel was great. The room was small with just one double bed. But we didn't spend much time in the room, so who cares!

Prince Conti Review

The PC provides a great combination of location, value, and "milieu." The staff were friendly, while not overly so, and responsive, while not overly warm. The best thing about this place is that it is a few paces off of Bourbon Street, while providing a quiet, safe, and clean haven from all of the debauchery and music that make Bourbon Street such an attraction! Check the prices at the "Bombay Club" before you commit to a drink there. We would come back any time, and we will remember the Prince Conti fondly.

Great Hotel for the Money

Overall, the hotel stay was very pleasant. Location is right off Bourbon St. and can't be beat. Staff is very friendly and accomodating. Rooms are very clean and bathroom was spacious and spotless. The only gripe that I had was the beds. Matress was old and not very comfortable, pillows were thin and tiny and so was the blanket. However, its an awesome hotel for the money and I would definitely stay there again.

Great location Good value Helpful staff

Location, location, location, and a neat, clean, friendly hotel too. The continental breakfast was limited but still appreciated in a downtown hotel. 1/2 block from Bourbon St. could be noisy but we were on the back side of the hotel and it was very quiet. $28 a day for parking seems high but in a city where you pay $10 for 3 hours in a lot it is a bargain. Reserve parking ahead during busy seasons or weekends.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

About 5 blocks away in the French Quarter is the Lafitte National Park French Quarter site. At 9:30 each morning they give a FREE quided walking tour which is a great cultural, architectural, and geographical orientation to the area. Your entire party must be there at 9:00 to get tour passes. The site also has clean rest rooms that can be used while wandering in the French Quarter.
