“Belle of New Orleans” offers genteel luxury fit for the fab traveler
The best of New Orleans is only minutes away from this regal-looking hotel. Le Pavillon was built in 1907 and restored to its original glory in the 1970s. It evokes the grand style of Napoleonic France. Top-hatted doormen welcome guests to a lobby filled with antiques and lit by 11 crystal and bronze chandeliers. An 1880s hand-carved bar, salvaged from one of Al Capone's Chicago haunts, is right at home in the Big Easy. This hotel is adjacent to the French Quarter and eight blocks from the Morial Convention Center. Bourbon Street and the Superdome are nearby.

The Belle of New Orleans!
Always wanted to patronize this gorgeous 5-Star hotel in my hometown. It was everything I dreamed of and more. From the moment we stepped into the 100 year old Grande Dame establishment, I felt like royalty. The service/employees were all "top-drawer" and professionals. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to others and will find my way back here my next rip to The Big EZ! And our BED... OMG! SO comfortable we didn't want to leave the room!

Simply the best!
From the moment I arrived, I was treated like royalty. The staff went out of its way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. Their smiles were contagious. There is no better place to stay in New Orleans than at Le Pavillon -- a true blend of old world beauty and Southern hospitality.

Good Location but needs a renovation.
Le Pavillion was in a good location but the hotel does need some remodeling. The bathroom was small, the toilet handle was broken so you had to wiggle it to shut off the water, and the the whole room just needed fresh paint. Lobby and bar was not much better. The chairs had lots of stains and really need to be reupholstered. Overall, the hotel was fine but it wasn't great.

Good value
We enjoyed our stay at Le Pavillon. The fitness center is a bit cramped and dated, but all other amenities and service at the hotel are top notch. Extremely comfortable beds!

intro to New Orleans
La Pavillon was like fantasy of days gone by: exactly what we were looking for. We did not want a box-like structure identical to every other city in the US... we wanted New Orleans, and here it is!
