“Belle of New Orleans” offers genteel luxury fit for the fab traveler
The best of New Orleans is only minutes away from this regal-looking hotel. Le Pavillon was built in 1907 and restored to its original glory in the 1970s. It evokes the grand style of Napoleonic France. Top-hatted doormen welcome guests to a lobby filled with antiques and lit by 11 crystal and bronze chandeliers. An 1880s hand-carved bar, salvaged from one of Al Capone's Chicago haunts, is right at home in the Big Easy. This hotel is adjacent to the French Quarter and eight blocks from the Morial Convention Center. Bourbon Street and the Superdome are nearby.

Another great NOLA vacation
We've been going to NOLA for vacations for the last few years. This one of the nicer hotels we've experienced. my husband loved the complimentary PB and J sandwiches with cold milk before turning in. it was onlu a short walk to the Quarter and easy access to the freeway when we went to visit family. Parking was cheaper than right in the Quarter so that was nice. we would stay here again.

Awesome New Orleans Exeprience
If you really want to feel an authentic atmosphere of New Orleans and their hospitality Le Pavillon is the place to be. The interior of hotel is beautiful and the rooftop has a small pool and the deck area. Every day at 10PM hotel serves PB&J and hot chocolate for all of their guests. I highly recommend it, there is a feel of warmth and intimacy unlike some big hotel chains Hyatt, Mariott etc...

Great locale, nice staff
This hotel is located about an 8 minute walk from old New Orleans, which made it perfect to escape the hustle bustle of the New Orleans night life when we needed to retire. The staff went out of their way to accomodate our needs. The hotel is old, but was very clean. The only downfall was the disrepair on the rooftop where the pool is located. Though it was easy to see maintenance was in the works, there was just a lot which still needed to be done. Would definately stay here again.

Perfect Old New Orleans Charm
Le Pavillon really couldn't be a better throwback to Old New Orleans. Over the top 1920s decor, with a staff that looks after your every need. The rooftop pool deck is a thing of wonder, as is the succulent lobby. Throw in the ghosts and this is as New Orleans as it gets.

Almost perfect but not quite--then who is?
This has long been a favorite hotel of ours: the staff is wonderful, atmosphere outstanding. This time the bed was very uncomfortable, we did not sleep well, and as always, the barthrooms are tiny. But we love it anyway, will probably be back the next time we are in NO.

After we checked in, we immediately noticed the HVAC unit in the ceiling was making a loud noise, coming from the blower fan. Our bellhop also heard the noise and contacted the front desk, to switch us to another room. We went to another room on the floor, but that HVAC unit was also making a loud noise, so we asked for another room. At this time the on-duty concierge arrived and took us to the 3rd room, it too had a noisy HVAC unit. The concierge tried to explain as: "It's an old hotel". He was very polite about it, but we really didn't need to hear the noise and agreed to look at another room. The 4th room was fine and we decided to stay at the hotel. Other than the HVAC problem, the hotel was great, the staff was polite and very professional. One of the concierges really stood out, I cant remember her name, but she really helped us out with scheduling tours, answering our questions and assisting us with printing out boarding passes, etc. She made us decide to come back to the hotel, hopefully later this fall. We will be sure to ask the staff to check our room for a noisy HVAC unit, before we check-in. Overall, the entire staff was great and I would recommend the hotel to my associates. The hotel was very quiet at night and we valued our peaceful sleep! As for value, our package deal was the deciding factor in selection this hotel

It's all in the details!
Wonderful experience for three mums away from their families to get completely pampered at the Pavillon hotel. The staff was wonderfull. We got great tips about excursions from Gus. The swimming pool on the roof is awesome. They even got this nice and cute tradition where they invite their guests in the lobby between 10pm and 11pm for free peaunut butter and jelly sandwich together with a hot or cold chocolate. It's all in the small details, right!
