Great Location and Hotel!
The hotel is very convenient to the French Quarter. We walked all over the city from this location without any issues. There are many restaurants and bars very close. The staff went out of their way to get a room ready for us after we arrived several hours before check-in time. The room was very nice with wood floors and very spacious stone bathroom. I would definitely reccommend this hotel as it was a great deal and a very nice place.

Inn on St. Peter Street - New Orleans French Quarter
I stayed only one overnight, for oral argument to the Louisiana Supreme Court, so my experience is limited. My small room was mostly filled by the king size bed in this 200+ year old building, but it was very nice, original wood floor, huge window behind original shutters on ground floor facing the street in a quiet residental part of the French Quarter, painted original native brick facade forming the street side wall. There is no hotel parking, but independent protected parking is available in the area $20 to $35 for 24 hours. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Modern wave-card locks, nice large flat tv, nice bathroom fixtures. The only glitch was inability to make a long distance call from the room telephone, when I had temporarily lost my mobile. This should have been possible but there were no instructions and the night auditor wasn't able to supply any that worked, however he let me make a call from the front desk. The price was very reasonable and the location was great, quiet but near the action. I have stayed in many downtown New Orleans hotels, and would happily stay at this one again.

Short walk from hotel
The Inn on St. Peter Street is on the opposite side of the French Quarter from the Mississippi River levee and Moon Walk, but that is where I chose to park and lock my car overnight for $20, versus $35 in a hotel tower closer by, because my morning business was on that side of the Quarter, putting me near my car when I was done. I checked my bag at the front desk, made the five-block walk to the Supreme Court, from there the three-block walk to my car, and drove back to the hotel loading zone for my bag. Quiet cocktails, entertainment, and dining if desired is only two blocks from this hotel at the Bombay Club in the Prince Conti Inn.

Birthday Weekend Getaway
The location of the hotel was perfect, it was within walking distance to the bourbon street, jackson square, cafe du monde etc. The guest house was great, a real new orleans french quarter experience, our room faced the courtyard and was very cute. Wood floors, updated bathroom and a comfy bed. The rooms are small but that is expected in the french quarter guest houses. The downside was parking, there is no parking on site, you have to use public parking with was several blocks south of the guest house, it was a 24 hour security parking garage so your car is safe. I would definitely stay at this place again.

Good things come in small packages
Our room was small, but everything was new and the a/c and ceiling fan were much appreciated after experiencing the heat and humidity of NOLA. We loved the location - close to Bourbon Street and French Market, but on a quiet street. We thought the continental breakfast would be more than just muffins and coffee, but hey, getting brunch in NOLA is a real treat, so we didn't mind having to eat out.

delightful find in the quarter
We were put at a sister property, the Inn at St. Ann. It was a great find, completely renovated yet quaint. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. The property is far enough from the nightlife to be quiet yet close enough to shopping and fun to be really convenient.
