Great location in French Quarter
Hotel located in FQ and within walking distance of Bourbon Street, yet its location is very quiet and peaceful. Experienced great night of sleep on bed. Staff super friendly and very helpful. WIFI signal in room was weak and my laptop was unable to consistently connect to it. They have a parking lot across the street. If that is full the staff will valet your car to another lot. (In general, parking is very limited for the entire French Quarter, especially on the streets.) Air conditioning unit in room was great! Breakfast snacks (juice, coffee, bagels & donuts) were free.

Time-saving tip:
Short drive from hotel
If possible, plan on walking to your destination(s) since finding street parking in French Quarter is limited. You can waste a lot of time driving around the streets - many of which are one-way - trying to find a parking space.

The bedroom had one small bureau and the room was very used....absolutely no room for anything except to sleep. Bathroom Horrible is the only words that can describe it. I have photos but having trouble uplooading them. Cracks in bath tub, unknown stains on top of top commode was peeling. z.

Historical Lication for a reason
Great location, was able to walk everywhere Other than that not much to say. The building is old and actually claimed as a historic site. Which means this place is old. The rooms are extremely small, smells like my grandmas basement, and everything about it is old and run done. Free breakfast but not much to talk about. It's just cereal, fruit and cheap donuts. 3/10

Beware for high parking cost
Although website says free parking, hotel has only one option, valet parking, which is $37 per day (tax included) and you park your car yourself, you don't give key to valet, but you pay for valet service. Other than only parking, other properties were ok.

Can't beat the location but hotel is a little worn.
Overall a nice little hotel but the rooms are worn. Ours was literally 10 steps from the front desk and shared a wall with the breakfast area so was quite loud both from people checking-in, going to their rooms, and then getting breakfast the next morning. That having been said, it's in a great location if you want to be in the Quarter and reasonably priced.

A nice hotel with bad management
The hotel lost my reservation, had to make a call to the booking agent before he would honor my reservation. Randolph, the night clerk, refused to apologize since as he said, " it wasn't his fault, so why should I apologize." The hotel stated that parking was included. Randolph told me that it didn't matter what it said in the add, I still had to pay $37.23 a night for parking. The location was great, the beds were comfy, the room was good size and very clean, breakfast was limited, but boy do they know how to make doughnuts in New Orleans. I would recommend the hotel if they get this parking thing figured out and you know what you are paying for before you arrive. Other than Randolph the rest of the staff was pleasant and helpful.

Sightseeing tip:
Short walk from hotel
New Orleans Cooking school, they offer demonstration classes a few times a day. They also have hands on classes on Friday night and Sunday afternoon. The classes are great fun, the food you get to eat is delicious. I took my teenage kids and they had a blast. Pat was our teacher and she really knew her stuff. I would recommend getting a reservation.
