Most rooms at this French Quarter value hotel have scenic balconies

Great One Night Stay
I stayed here for a night after a concert at House of Blues. The location was perfect a block from Bourbon and less than 10 min from HOB. We got a room that used to be part of the suites at the hotel and had a semi-private courtyard right outside our room that was very nice. Only complaint was that we could hear the room next door the next morning as they got ready to check out.

Hotel St. Marie, New Orleans
This hotel smell. The carpet is too dirty. Bed is not very comfortable. Many of the towel are not white. The location is great. The restaurant right down stair was great but pricey.

Couples Vacation
Excellent value for the money! Location 1 block north of Bourbon St. Perfectly quiet for sleeping, but was also in the middle of Bourbon St., the heart of the French Quarter. The manager was very helpful. Jen was the most friendly and knowledgeable desk clerk/concierge. She steered us to some really great locations for food and real New Orleans jazz just outside of the French Quarter. Downsides, no microwave or small refrigerator in room. 16" TV screen.

In April bring half warm clothes, half shorts and short shirts - weather variable and unpredictable, can get down to 50's at night. Bring one pair of broken in, light and very comfortable walking shoes. All kinds of uneven walking surfaces, cobblestone, etc.

Great location
Hotel St. Marie is located one block from Bourbon and close to just about everything. Room was comfortable and quiet and clean. Vacherie restuarant on first floor had an excellent breakfast menu. The Andouille sausage Hash was delicious.

Great place
I was very pleased with the St. Marie. I've stayed in New Orleans numerous times. The hotels in the French Quarter can be very expensive even during off-seasons for travelers. Big rooms with convenient amenities. Nice small courtyard with pool.

Great Location
Corner room with a great view of the french quarter. Staff was great and always willing to help and advise best deals. Great location. Steps from bourbon street. Super cute courtyard. Small pool.

Great pace to bourbon.
I enjoyed the location and front entrance of this hotel. The bed was ok and the room was ok. My only complaint is the bathroom does not have a real door. It has a door with slats. I am not happy with that as it does not give you the privacy you need. If you know what I mean. Other than that.. great hotel.

bourbon street steps away
The hotel had a great location steps from bourbon street . It was very old but so is the rest of the city. We had to pay for parking which we felt should be part of the room.It had no mini fridge or a micowave ,but ghad a liitle store next store. Over all if you are going to do bourbon street this is a good bet.
