The staff was wonderful and the location was perfect. If I could change anything it would be the $30 parking per night for hotel guest and include breakfast with your stay.

Stole my toothbrush
The housekeeping staff actually took or threw away my Sonicare toothbrush. Unbelievable but true. Repeated attempts to get them to find it were fruitless. You would hope to get something like this back...not so at this property.

Don't Take a Chance on This Hotel
I booked & paid for this hotel several months prior to travel. I chose it because of its location. However, they overbooked for the weekend of my trip, so I got bumped (along with several other people) to another hotel (Stay at the Hyatt - it was fantastic). I was given a letter and a cab ride across town as an apology. I asked the manager to contact me and he never did. Apparently, this is common for this hotel. I would not recommend this hotel chain or location to anyone. BTW - the Hyatt was definately an upgrade! Consider staying there instead!

Going Home
I was simply looking for a place to stay while I attended a conference. I was pleased at all of the amenities available in the hotel: restaurant, various seating areas, jazz musician... I would stay here again!

Unbeatable location
We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn during the Essence Festival July 4th wkend. We loved everything about it. The restaurant on location and the overly accomodating chefs were the best. The hotel room had microwave & refrigerator. ALL of the staff were courteous and professional. The hotel is away from the loud & busy streets of the French Quarters but close enough to walk there. Conveniently located 1 block away from the Convention Center where we spent most of our time during the day. The Riverwalk is about 1 1/2 block away and was great to watch the fireworks. 15/20 min walk to the superdome. The rooftop pool is small but nice and clean. We will definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.

NOLA
I enjoyed this hotel. It was in a great location within walking distance of the Convention Center and the Aquarium, which was where I needed to go for a work event. Bonus - Cochon restaurant is right behind the hotel. The room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was also good. There is a rooftop pool that looked inviting, next time I'll bring a swimsuit! Would definitely stay here again.

If you've never eaten at Cochon, GO! Cochon Butcher is also next door which has less expensive lunch options, plus you can buy artisan meats there! These restaurants are right behind the hotel.

Very friendly staff and comfy rooms!
The staff there is extremly friendly- valets, concierge, maids, etc. The other guests were too. On nights we came in super late no one ever looked at us weird- they were all very professional. The only con is that it's about 8 blocks from canal street so bring gym shoes or enjoy walking! Or taxi cab, there are options :)) great experience- would definitely stay there again!!
