Pleasant

This was or 2nd time staying here. Came back because it was quiet. Children are getting older, so we needed more room. Booked twin King beds. Not much room for anything else. But, you're in New Orleans. GET OUTTA THE ROOM!

great stay

the location to everything that is New Orleans is phenomenal. Not too close to the crazy, but a one block walk to it. the parking is not fun, but there is a lot directly across the hotel entrance. the hotel lobby is upstairs from the main entrance. kind of confusing. but didnt make much of a difference the rooms are nice with 2 king beds. each bed is in its own separate "room" with the bathroom in the middle. very clean and quiet.

Exceptionally cleaner than other area hotels

I was surprised at how clean this hotel was. Most in the area are clean, but dont have that super clean feel. This one was great. The decor was updated, clean, modern, much better than many of its competitors in the area. Valet parking service was excellent. one block from Bourbon, one block from Canal! I had a double King room, and they were almost like separate rooms with a door between the two and a TV for each person. Had a bar, mini fridge, great bathroom. Worth every penny! Staff was excellent as well. Its hard to find staff that just smiles and greets you and means it and doesnt seem miserable. I have come to truly appreciate that. My new fave and I will be back!

Perfect Save

When our door stopped working one night (electronic malfunction - hey - it happens) they pounced - and quickly. I was in a new room down the hall in 10 minutes flat. The staff even offered to help me move everything over there. Great location, only a block from Bourbon St. and a block from Canal St. Doesn't get much better!

everything was great!

Everyone must go to NOLA in their lifetime. The Courtyard on Iberville is a perfect location. Just one block from all of the hustle and bustle of Bourbon Street but far enough that you can sleep when it's that time. Everything that you want to see (nightlife, parks, casinos, museums, food) is walkable. Very comfortable room and the staff was helpful across the board.

Lovely French Quarter Getaway

Safe, quiet, clean, friendly, accommodating. Newly refurbished rooms, great beds, our room had a lovely living room, with bar and refrigerator, and the couch made into a bed that children could sleep on, if needed. A continental breakfast and free parking would have made it perfect!

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Eat a late breakfast at Cafe DuMonde, a big, late lunch at any of the great restaurants of New Orleans and just skip the VERY expensive dinners. Ride the streetcars, take a cruise on the Natchez steamboat (but don't bother with the food on board), take a horse drawn carriage ride when you get tired of walking, shop on Royal street, and the French Market, browse around Jackson Square and go to church at St. Louis Cathedral.

Parking pain

Granted, it was Mardi Gras, but parking at this hotel was not easy. We parked in a garage several blocks away because of parades, but then when the parades were over all of the streets, including the one with the entrance to the hotel, were blocked. I was told the only way to park was to just pull our car in (to the Valet) port, which we did. Several days after leaving I received a charge on my card. Not knowing what it was for, I called and was told it was for Valet Parking. No one told us where to park or that there was any other options. We loved the room, but were really annoyed by the parking situation, even more so when I got the charge.
