Marriott Hotel

The Front Desk Staff were absolutely incredible. The Hotel itself is a bit dated (late 60s, my guess) but undergoing rehab. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast definitely lacking - a bit overpriced with few selections. Wait staff VERY attentive. Overall, priced for the completed renovation - not the current condition.

BR Marriott

IMprovements needed: A/C was semi-functional. TVs are old school. Bar closes at 11 pm. Room was clean but you can tell the rooms have been renovated a few times. Bathroom was clean and well stocked with supplies. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Nothing special

We were in town for a wedding and selected it due to its proximity to the bride & groom's house. It wasn't anything fancy, but it got the job done, i.e. a place to crash in between functions! :)

Nice room for the price

Staff was really nice and the rooms were comfortable. The hotel was close to the highway that made it easy for excursions to nearby plantations and to New Orleans. It was minutes from downtown.
