The hotel was very convenient to my business needs for this trip. I was less than happy with the cost of the room NOT including WIFI. However, the staff was gracious enough to provide WIFI for the prepaid hotel room costs.

Excellent location right next to the river, Chicago Theatre and one block off Michigan Ave. Can't be more convenient. Hotel is modern and hip and super clean. Not much of a view from our room but there's so much to do in downtown Chicago anyway.

What Holiday Inn might Aspire To
Not bad just annoying! This place is about as plain jane as it gets. High marks for cleanliness and nice gym facilities but ill informed disinterested staff. Small details like replenishing toiletries-having enough creamer for coffee, have just one one hook in the smallish room, among other annoyances make this place just inconvenient. The concierge desk is a stand in the lobby-which makes using this services unwelcoming. Probably OK as the concierge isn't particularly well informed. But most annoying of all the piped in bird sounds in the halls and strong vanilla scent in the lobby -yuck! I expected much more from this overly hyped property.

Convenience & Comfort
The great location, friendly and helpful staff help make theWit one of my favorite places to stay in Chicago. Throw in the warm chocolate chip cookies, cool architecture and heavenly beds and I almost forget that I'm in town for work and not taking a vacation.

Boring and over hyped
The photos of this hotel make it look like something special, which it is not. Unless you are on the highest floors you will see nothing when facing State street. REally nothing special about the place, does not appear as new as it is. One of the resturants was closed when visiting. The Club, Roof, was unimpressive, and tiny with a mediocre view. Just wasy too small ofa space for a club, no atmosphere and the staff could care less. I would not return, nor recommend this Hotel.

This is a great hotel which is directly beside the Orange Line at State and Lake. So for those coming into downtown from Midway, this is perfect. The staff and management are outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel.
