Night away

Clean, gorgeous, lovely decor, top notch service! Only complaint was our departure / luggage retrieval left us feeling a bit "pushed aside". Thankfully a friendly bellhop who grabbed a cab so we wouldn't miss our transportation home picked our spirit back up.

Very competent and responsive staff

This hotel was clearly a high class operation. All of the staff were extremely respectful and helpful...they continually were asking how I was doing. The room was very clean, with the exception of a bit of dust in corner or low traveled areas. The view was spectacular of the city and magnificent mile walk. It is not designed apparently to have many convenient places to access food in the hotel...but..there are many places within two blocks that are easy to walk to, but it is extremely cold if you are there in the winter as I was. So if you just want to get up and find some quick easy quality breakfast, that is not a feature of this hotel. It was a very comfortable experience, but this hotel doesn't come any where near the quality of the Wynn/Encore Las Vegas, where the amenities and rooms are far superior in every way. Found a great place about a mile away for breakfast called "The Yolk"....wonderful food, very inexpensive, exceptional service, and is a $6 taxi ride away. Overall, a very comfortable, clean, and elegant hotel, but not the 5 * quality I am used to when I stay at the Wynn/Encore.

Amazing views!

We arrived at the hotel to find they had provided us a complimentary upgrade to a spa room - which was priced less than our deluxe king with a city view. We weren't sure it was an upgrade and requested to see the room we had not been given. Indeed it was an upgrade! The view we had put us directly over the river, with a slight glance of Navy Pier, and we could see the Lake as well. We thought the bathroom was nicer as well, and never missed the kitchen! The staff was amazing, and the location suited our needs perfectly!

Wow, Simply Wow!

Spent a Saturday night with my fiancee. In a 90+ story building our room was on the 14th floor and still was blown away. We faced the city with the lake in the back looking down on Michigan Ave.. The room was huge, bed incredibly soft. Price was a bit high but was incredible all around.

I want to live here!

I loved everything about this hotel! The only reason I rated the location a 4 instead of a 5 is because in the past I have stayed at other 5 star hotels that were more north . I liked that location better for shopping purposes only. I will definitely stay here again! The spa floor was fantastic. Stay here! You won't regret it!

Trump Chicago will not disappoint!

My fiance and I went away for a long weekend and decided to stay at the Trump Hotel in Chicago. We absolutely loved it from the moment we stepped foot into the hotel. The service was top notch. The rooms were amazingly clean and had any amenity you could imagine. The beds super comfortable. The location was absolutely perfect. We don't have one negative thing to say about it! We loved it and plan on staying there again!

You must, must, must try Paisano's Pizza!!! There are a few locations but wewent to the one near all of the restaurants on State Street. There is also one in The Loop Area which is is in the Financial district. Gino's was recommended which we tried but skip it and go to paisano's. Amazing thin crust pizza!!!!!!!! Yummy!!!! If you look it up you'll see they were on the Oprah show as well as USA Today and many other media outlets! My fiance wants to go back to Chicago because of this pizza! The lady who makes the crust is 85 years old and comes in every morning to make it. She will not let anyone who works there know her recipe (I tried to find out as well but with no success)! I don't blame her. It's amazing!

Trump Internaional was great. It was almost perfect. The only issue I had was that the thermostats in the rooms are for decoration only and you must call an engineer to change the temperature. The temp must be changed in their control room, so don't wait around for the AC to kick in or you will be sorely disappointed. I sorted that issue the first night and the rest of the stay was extremely nice. This is the service everyone talks about about, but is rarely see in practice.
