Charming and convenient Chicago hotel with free breakfast and Internet

Fantastic 3 day stay!
The staff was very friendly. Gave great recommendations on where to go and what to do around town! Rooms were always clean and front desk helped in any way they could. I would definitely stay here again!

Willows Hotel
price plus location, hands down one of the best deals going. only drawback is that it is several blocks from the closest el, and we were traveling with three kids. old building with lots of character, large rooms with small closets, very comfy beds, clean, good continental breakfast, 24 hour tea and coffee. walkable to good restaurants.

Very nice!
The hotel was very comfortable. There was more than enough room for three people. Coffee, decaf and regular, and tea were available 24 hours. The staff were wonderful at answering questions and giving directions.

There was a wonderful Thai restaurant on Belmont. It was very small with limited seating but the food was delicious. It appeared to be very popular.

Nice Placebut problems
The room was nice. The staff was nice. The location was nice. I had a problem with the heating. The hotel is radiator heated and the radiators hiss and squeal for half an hour every 2. The pipes would bang like they were being pounded every time the heat came on. I also had an issue that I could not set the temperature of my room. I may like a cooler room, but that is my choice and I felt like i was in a sweat box.

Great Location
The rooms are small, but i didn't really feel like we needed a huge room, but i'm sure some people may feel cramped. The price was great, and pre-paying through [...] made check-in and check-out really easy. There is paid parking directly behind the hotel in a parking garage that you pay by credit card (i think it is around $20 for every 24 hours).

Great "old school" hotel
Nice stay in a quaint old school hotel. 13 year old son loved the breakfast opening at 6am! Within walking distance of relatives. Will definitely stay there again.

Excellent value for a boutique hotel
Old historic and beautiful hotel that has been up-dated with new baths. Very quaint and ellegant lobby, and very professional staff. Great location to public transportation and lakefront. Will definitely stay or recommend again

Great location and very helpful staff

A great quiet place in a good lcoation
The room was super comfortable, well-appointed and fit our needs perfectly. The staff was friendly but didn't seem to know the city very well. However, that's a bonus not a mandate these days. We enjoyed it and lvoed being close to the water and Lincoln Park during our two night stay. It helped that they had a great deal going on too!

hard to please travelors
Mellow consumers
Wasn't a good experience. Room was supposed to be a non-smoking room, but it reeked of cigerette smell. The room also had a very musty smell. Bathroom didn't have any place to set tolietries, very small. The location was good, only 4 miles from downtown, which is what your paying for here.
