45th Anniversary get-away trip!

Mile North is a lovely, modern- decorated hotel. Beautiful city views from the 22nd floor. Location was two blocks from trolley stop allowing us to enjoy the city without driving and paying the stiff parking lot fees! The entire service staff was very polite and helpful. We will return.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Try Gino's next door for Italian food. The antipasto salad and pasta dishes are delicious though we still prefer our Detroit-style pizza! Ask hotel front -desk staff for a quick way in despite the long lines at the door.

Mile North is a near perfect place to enjoy Chicago

First the hotel is very modern and everyone, from the valets, the wait staff in the restaurants, the checkin.. is friendly and wanted to make our stay enjoyable and fun. My only complaint was that the toilet rumbled after flushing and we had to jigger the handle and the bathroom sink was cracked. (I am a germophobe). There is a great bar on top with a roof access that is just so nice on a warmer evening.

The hotel restaurant is a poor value and the food was not very good but down the street on St Clair is the Country Bakery, good value and up the street on Superior (after Rush) was the delightful Sunny Side Cafe which made the best breakfasts! Ginos, next store is the best deep dish pizza EVER!!! There is a line so get there early!

Great value

Didn't expect much, as this was one of the cheaper 4 star hotels near Magnificent Mile but was pleasantly surprised. Pros: Clean, modern decor in the lobby and room. The basic king room was very large and would be considered a suite in most hotels. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Got a $20 voucher for each day to use at the bar downstairs. Also there is a relaxing bar on the top (29th) floor. Cons: Small bathroom. Parking available across the street is expensive, but to be expected in this location.

Hellooo Chicagooo

Glad i used my orbucks on this hotel! Cityview loft suite was nice and cozy. Only a few blocks from the Red train line. Right next to Ginos East and few blocks from Giordanos if youre craving deep dish pizza. Would definitely recommend this spot if visiting Chicago

spur of the moment visit the daughter at school trip

Excellent location in downtown Chicago, had my room available 3 hrs before normal check in and let me in at no extra charge! First room had broken window blinds and they switched me to same room three floors up immediately. room a bit funky with three steps from the entryway to the main level but it worked out ok, just a bit weird at night going to the toilet! Hip coffee liquor lobby bar, good vibe with fire place and d├ęcor. I'd stay here again and would recommend it to anyone seeking something more unique than a chain Hyatt etc

Mile North for Business

Hotel was in a great downtown location. The room was large and comfortable. The bathroom was a bit worn with the tub needing caulking and broken tiles replaced. The staff was courteous and responsive. Parking is quite expensive, but not unusual for downtown.
