Amazing couples getaway!

The location is amazing within walking distance of michigan ave, navy pier, the beach, hancock bldg, etc. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in! The rooftop bar was lovely and romantic! Cozy atmosphere! Will come back for sure.

Outstanding location.

Great experience. The hotel was very nice. The room was spacious and very clean. Check-in clerk was exceptional. The location was outstanding; just a couple blocks from the Water Tower area. Will definitely stay here again. The only thing that would have made the room better is a lighted magnifying make-up mirror in the bathroom. External signage could be made more visible. Walking to the hotel at night the signage was obscured by the pizza restaurant signage next door.

Nice Place with Rooftop Bar

The view from the rooftop bar was amazing. The room was very clean and the staff very friendly. I would have liked the beds to be upgraded a bit. Also, the only pizza delivery open late is Rinali's. The food was good, however the service was extremely rude and I would recommend giving them any business.

Nightlife tip: Short drive from hotel

We actually chose this hotel thinking it was close to the nightlife scene. It is a only walking distance to shopping. You will need to get a cab to find any bars or clubs.

would definitely stay again

This is the perfect location for shopping and dining, steps away from Michigan Ave, Water Tower, and the Hancock building. The staff were very helpful at the desk and the lobby is cozy and inviting. I was very glad to have a Starbucks in the lobby as well. I did not eat at the on site cafe, however I would have liked to had my schedule permitted. For pizza lovers, there is a Gino's East literally next door.

perfect location, there is no roof top bar

First off, the location was perfect. We were within walking distance of everything, the bean, magnificent mile, sears tower. Things that were farther away such as the navy pier we used the CTA. The Hotel lobby was very nice, it had tons of seating and a nice bar. The "Starbucks" is not really a starbucks, they just brew starbucks coffee. I only had two bad things about the hotel. They need to STOP advertising that they have a roof top bar. That was a huge selling point for me and its false. While my husband and I were in the lobby we heard multiple people ask about the roof top bar. The staff was very graceful about handling it and let them know it had been turned into an event center. Secondly, the water pressure is awful! There were multiple times during showering where the water literally just turned off. So a five minute shower turned into a 20 min shower. The AC in the rooms was awesome and the room itself was very spacious.

Excellent Stay

Definitely recommend this hotel. It's in the perfect location for walking as well as hopping any public transportation to see the sights. The staff was very welcoming and upgraded us for free since our flight didn't get in until the next morning. When we arrived, within 5 minutes, we were checked in and had reservations for a boat tour. They provide many additional services for reservations, and there is a nice cafe/restaurant on site for a quick bite or a sit down meal.
