MileNorth May 30th
Rooms start at around $235 but it wasn't worth it. Ottoman in room was filthy, so was green blanket on bed. The bathroom wasn't stocked that well with towels and the room curtain wouldn't go up so the room was dark the entire day and we couldn't enjoy the view. Location is excellent, however.

I liked my room quite a bit, though I found front desk customer service to be somewhat lacking. I asked for a quiet room and I had no trouble sleeping, and for that I was very happy. I also liked the look and feel of the room. I did not like how crowded and chaotic the lobby was every time I entered the hotel. Perhaps that bar/cafe could be more separate from the check-in desk.

Hotel is nice but I would not go there again
The hotel is in a good location for tourists, close to downtown, you can walk to everything. However, because of the location, there is no parking for cars, and they only offer valet which is NOT complimentary, I had to pay $52 per day to just leave my car there and walk to everything. The room is tiny, i booked a room with city view and 2 double beds, they gave me a room with back hotel view of other buildings, a room with one queen bed and pull out sofa. Amenities weren't that fancy for the price. Only thing we like was the bathroom. The staffs were SUPER friendly though. I think overall the hotel was ok but not for price i paid.

How about some greeting to visitor
I didn't stay much in the Hotel because I was busy visiting places in Chicago, so I don't know much about the amenities. Location was good right next to Magnificent Mile. If you like to do shopping, this might the one. Hotel cleaness was good but for four stars hotel, I would say it is an average. I stayed in 18th floor, so I didn't hear any noise at night. I don't know why but the front desk staff was not that nice. Maybe he(the front desk staff) had unpleasant time with his manager prior to my arrival. He didn't say much of "welcome" or "thank you". He just handed me the card key and said "room 1803". I mean if I were a visitor, I would like to have some welcome feeling. But overall with that money, I would find different hotel next time.

Good stay
Great location, great rooms, and staff was friendly!! My only take is that their suggestions for activities and restaurants felt very local and not something a new visitor to the city would like to see. In general loved my stay!

Short walk from hotel
Looking for a moderately priced lunch near the Magnificent Mile? Then look no further than Bel 50, a delicious eatery with the most unique Belgian sandwiches for less than $7. Share the tater tots with truffle oil and Parmesan cheese with a friend.

Great stay, ideal location
Classy, upscale, friendly. Good restaurant (had breakfast) with reasonable prices and Starbucks inside lobby. Ideal for shopping, access to lake. Our room was beautiful, lean spacious with lots of natural light pouring through giant windows.

Staff needs a little polish
I'm a Chicago resident and decided to spend the night downtown with my girlfriend to go out and explore. The staff took one look at the address on my id and made an off hand comment. They seemed a little snooty and informal after that which kind of put a damper on the whole experience, I was expecting a little more professionalism. Too bad. Overall nice hotel with great location, unfortunately wouldn't recommend there are more complete establishments nearby.
