Convenient convention hotel in Chicago
When the lights go down in the Windy City, there is no better location to soak in the view than at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. Walking the full breadth of the Pier is as universally popular and appealing as shopping on the nearby Magnificent Mile. Given its proximity to these and other top Chicago attractions, it’s no surprise that the Hyatt Regency Chicago remains a popular site for conventions.

  • Easy access to the Magnificent Mile and Navy Pier
  • Six restaurants and bars, including Stetson’s Chophouse and BIG Bar
  • Private Regency Club lounge on penthouse level of west tower
  • Fitness center on 24th floor

Not worth it!

My experience at this hotel was not what I expected and not worth the amount of money I paid for it. The staff, especially those in valet parking, were not very helpful and some were downright rude. The elevators were not working properly for the entire weekend I stayed, a HUGE inconvenience.

Perfect location but not clean enough

Most of the attractions in Chicago were near by this hotel. It was perfect location to go anywhere but the room was not clean enough. The room was not clean and there was not enough fresh air in the room. I recommend this hotel but I hope cleaning service gets better.

Great place to experience Chicago

The Hyatt is in a perfect location. The views and ambiance are spectacular! Just a few minute walk and you are right in the heart of downtown. The staff was excellent. Every person on the staff I met was courteous, knowledgeable, very professional and friendly. My biggest criticism is that the Hotel wants to nickel and dime you for everything. The rates are reasonable for the location and amenities, however, I don't think it is necessary to charge ridiculous fees for snacks in the room, to name one. Coffee was the only thing provided in the room that did not cost extra. Come on guys, $20 extra for a room with a view, $60 parking, and you can't flip for a snickers? All in all it was a great stay. Thank you.

Money-saving tip: Not Applicable

If you fly into O'Hare, take the train. Cab ride was EXPENSIVE! (However, you will have to brave the cold as the hotel is about 7 blocks from the nearest station)
