Impressed!
My husband & I stayed in the East Wing - even though construction was taking place, we didn't hear any noise in our room. Construction ended 2 days before our departure & the end result is an absolutely magnificent East Wing -- all top shelf! Excellent location - 1 block from Miracle Mile & easy bus access. If you don't stay at this Hotel, definitely take a walk through it.

issues with safety & courtesy with staff
Nice Hyatt, but the Chicago Hyatt gave me a different experience. When I got home I realized I had left some clothing items in my room. When I called housekeeping the woman was rude, told me nothing was turned in, and when I asked to speak to someone else she told me to call security and hung up on me. Next call was Customer Service. Nicer Gentleman, but no help. No one wanted to admit that housekeeping had obviously thrown my items away. Serious apathy problem with staff that makes me feel unsafe and unwelcome. My fault I left things there, but poor customer relations.

Surprise getaway
It was very relaxing and my room view was beautiful. The staff was very friendly as well. The only thing i would recommend is finding cheaper parking. Overall i really enjoyed The Hyatt!!!!

Awesome weekend getaway
Our stay at this hotel was wonderful. The overall feeling of the hotel was warm and cozy while still being as big as an airport. Our room was very comfortable and had a nice riverfront view.
