St. Pattys getaway
Overall the hotel was great. The room was very clean and large. We had a river view so we were able to see the river each morning as a different shade of green. The bellstand is in a very awkward place at the foot of the elevator banks. It made it very crowded at times and most of the time you were bumping into staff trying to either hold the elevator or help someone else. The location was great and we were able to walk just about everywhere. The lounge was nice although the drinks were $14 a piece. The door from the lobby to the bowling alley was locked so you had to walk outside.

St. Patty's Day Weekend
I've stayed many places, but the Hotel Sax is by far my favorite. It's a perfect location, walking distance to almost everything. Room was very clean, and super comfortable. I do wish they had 4 pillows on the bed, not sure why there was only 3, but not a big deal. Every staff member I was in contact with was very helpful and super friendly. Great value for sure.

greate location
The hotel is located just beside the Michigan river, which means it is both near the loop and the two main avenues(state ave and michigan ave), there are blue line and red line train stations within 10 minutes walk. Beside the convinience, the hotel itself is also fantastic! The beds are so comfortable, and the room decoration is also impresive!

perfect location!
Great location for accessing all the restaurants and activity of the River North area, as well as the loop - you also have easy access to public transport. The single King room was not huge but very comfortable and staff was helpful...very cool lounge too!

Impression
1) Since the check-in counter is visually away from the elevator, I couldn't see the service people when I went in and out. Feeling is like a Motel. 2) There is no free WiFi and I didn't want to pay $24 a day to check my e-mail during the vacation. The rent is high already. Why not provide free WiFi? 3) No coffee maker. 4) They seem offer free coffee at the small lobby. However, it was empty when I passed by that morning.

Great Service, Friendly Staff, Overpriced
Check in/out was quick, very easy and quick. Staff was courteous. I was stay here again. No self parking, only valet parking if you don't want to hand your car over was the only complaint I had. Location is good for what we needed. I feel the price was a bit much for the overall experience. No problems during our weekend stay.
