Very nice hotel, very spacious room, just a block away from the elevated train. Very quiet, very nice neighbourhod (Old Chicago), shops in the area... and very helpful and friendly staff.

I was in Chicago for a memorial for a close friend. I needed a place that was quiet and relaxing and had easy access to different places in the city. Hotel Indigo was the perfect place. Every staff person I interacted with was unfailingly friendly, courteous and accommodating. I had planned to get around using taxis, but instead bought a transit pass at the drugstore down the street and easily used the bus to get around most of the time. The decor of the hotel was colorful and charming and my room ended up being larger than I expected. I couldn't have been happier that I chose to stay here.

2 day getaway - perfect
I had a perfect time @ Hotel Indigo - extremely comfortable, a steal for the price I got and close to all the places I wanted to go in Chicago (near an el which is a plus as well). My only issue with the hotel itself was the water pressure in the shower which was very weak. but this did not prevent me from having an excellent stay! I will definitely be back.

Parents in the City
cute theme hotel
Located in an excellent area for our needs. Very cute boutique hotel. Friendly staff. However.........Housekeeping needs to step it up. Towels were not replenished daily, ice bucket was at some point, stuffed under the bed, so we called for another. (who would guess to look under the bed???) Elevators were always available, and we like that!

Great location
This is a really cozy hotel. Nice rooms, which are a little on the small side, but comfortable. The staff is very brusque, and not super helpful, but the overall experience is good.

great locaiton
I have stayed here before because the location is great near many restaurants on Clark, Rush and in gold coast area. Nice staff, room was comfortable, large and the bathroom had a large shower rather than tub. Aveda amenities. Just a great vacation. thanks

A week in Chicago
My daughter and I spent a week in Chicago at the Hotel Indigo. We had a great time! The location was perfect and close to everything downtown. The staff was friendly and helpful all week. I would recommend a stay here! Try the Spa, the ladies were great!

Indigo Downtown
Approx 20 - 25 mins by car from OHare; Very helpful front desk; rooms are not outfitted like standard hotels - feel more like a summer cottage on Long Island; pretty good location - particularly if you like luxury clothing shopping & a number of nearby touristy places and restaurants - try the Newberry library; the only shortfalls for me where the hotel's eatery - no black tea - lots of other fusion & flower types & limited room service after certain hours; but several places to buy snacks within a block; also near the lake - would definitely return on next trip

Good boutique hotel
Indigo is comfortable, attractive, and far, far from stuffy. Rooms aren't large, but so what? Some problems with wi-fi, but soon resolved. Staff is friendly, helpful. Maybe a few too many scented candles in the lobby, but that's nitpicking, isn't it?
