The Carbide & Carbon Building earned landmark status in 1996 for its designóa champagne bottle with gold-foil top bubbling over the Windy City. Great hotel
Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. Excellent location near the red line CTA. Would recommend staying again...look for super saver sales though, as prices are a little high.

It's the location!
You could not ask for a better location for the Art Institute, Millennium Park, Grant Park, Shedd Aquarium, The Field,The Loop. Lot's of decent and reasonable places to eat nearby, Starbucks is two doors down. The building is unique but the rooms only average. A fantastic value if; "It's the Location"
