Travel Like a Rock Star
Loved it! This was my second stay at Hard Rock Hotel Chicago. I am a local who decided to spend a weekend in the city for a little birthday "stay-cation." As a twenty-something on a budget, I loved all the little free perks that make you feel like a rock star. I enjoyed playing pool in the lobby with friends, the iPod docks in the rooms, and . . . the amazing Check In, Rock Out program. As a music enthusiast, I loved the opportunity to have a $4000 guitar waiting in my room for me to play. It is a great -- and free -- perk for all guests. In addition, the staff is youthful and friendly, and the bar makes a great mojito! I highly recommend Hard Rock Hotel Chicago.

Try Grahamwich over on Ontario/State. It is a gourmet sandwich experience and an easy walk from the hotel

Hotel Review
The hotel has a nice downtown Chicago view. It is well equipped with all the necessity for business travel and stay. The bar located at the lobby gets noisy in evening. Overall the stay was pleasant.

Perfect hotel for me
We had a great stay at the hard rock. Check in way fast. Our room was very clean. The bed was so comfortable. The reason I only gave four stars is because everything in the little fridge was over the top expensive. I expected that but I dud not like that there were no vending machines with the ice machine. So it would have been 6$ minimum for a bottle of water unless I wanted to leave the hotel to purchase one.

One night stay at Hard Rock Chicago
Our one night stay was as expected. The hotel was very nice, modern with a bar and restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We ordered room service which was overpriced (expected) but convenient, as it is available 24 hours. The room was nice, clean, & modern (new flat screen tv) with a view of Michigan avenue, the river, and building, but also small. There was not much room between the beds and dresser/tv. Good location on Michigan ave and the parking garage around the block is cheaper than valet if you do not need your car until you leave.

No Complaints!
I got a great deal on the hotel and had no complaints. The front desk was pleasant when we checked in and made sure that I had a non-smoking room. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Hard Rock Rocks
A great hotel in a terrific location. The staff is attentive to guest details. I had an issue with a feather allergy and they were curtious and prompt in helping resolve the issue.

Of course, after you have dined at China Grill at the Hard Rock Hotel, take a short walk to have lunch or dinner at Rick Bayless' Frontera Grill, get a churro at OAXO, also make sure to grab a sandwich at Graham Elliot's Grahamwich.

Disappointment at Hard Rock
Compared to my other hotel experiences this year (in Michigan City and St.Louis) the Hard Rock stands out as having the most additional and hidden fees. The Hard Rock charges a ridiculous amount for things like parking ($46 A NIGHT) and $14 for internet and the list goes on. Really? In this day and age? $14 for internet? Also the TV in the room did not like to turn channels easily and two of the light bulbs were broke. I recommend any of the many other hotels in the area instead.

great enviroment to stay in
I went with 3 other couples and we went to enjoy the night life and scenery of Chicago. We all were very impressed with our room's for the price we paid.However we did get stuck in a elevator for about 15 minutes.They handled it with professionalism and were very concerned about our well being.
