Towering 40 floors above the Magnificent Mile, the Hard Rock Hotel Chicago was an institution long before celebrity guests like Dave Navarro passed through its black polished granite and terra cotta walls. Great weekend getaway
This was our first time to Chicago and it was great, we came for the Hockey game. The people were friendly and the city was so clean.

Great bed and decor
Very nice, comfortable bed with great sheets. Wish it had more amenities such as coffee for two in the room and an attached restuarant. Great location near everything in the Loop.

great concert, great hotel room :)
saw a great concert at the united center. cab under $15 each way:) was very foggy at check in but woke up to a great view :)late night had an app. soup, split a sanwich and a coulpe beers at the emerald loop under $40. very nice time. just had a wonderful time overall :)

Great Chicago Weekend Getaway
Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean and nicely decorated. Loved the huge windows; had a great view of Chicago! The location is great; quick walks to shopping and dining (and to public transportation, but we didn't use that).

China Grill - on location - awesome food; on the expensive side, but worth it - their menu is online. We had brunch at the Corner Bakery Cafe, which is probaly a 2-3 block walk; great sandwiches and soup (about $10 per person with beverages); Dinner another night was at the Texas de Brazil -probably a 4 block walk - go there hungry! It runs $45 per person and includes salad and all the steak, chicken, lamb chops you can eat. Delicious food - you should get a reservation on the weekend.

Rock again
We stayed here for our anniversary. It was a nice hotel, we liked the modern decor. Our room overlooked the beautiful parks. The staff was friendly and helpful. It wasn't a bad walk to go shopping either. We will definitely stay here again.
