Fantastic Weekend Getaway
We had a great Valentine's Weekend stay here at the DoubleTree! It was a short walk to Michigan Ave and very close to some great restaurants. It was also just a short walk to Millinium Park where we enjoyed the outside ice skating! The room had a great view and was very clean and comfy, would definitely stay again!

Unbeatable location for the price!
The service at this Ohio St. location in Chicago has extremely great people assisting you. As in my last stay with this hotel, the staff went above and beyond their call of duty to assist us. I will book over and over again for that reason alone. Also, very clean, roomy and beds are very comfortable. The location ROCKS....So close to Mag Mile! Thank You!

Average Hotel
I booked a king and I got a double. They did switch me to a king though. Seeing as it was their error, they could have been a little more accomedating in terms of offering discounted parking or something. Especially after I told them the floor's ice machine wasn't working.

Weekend getaway
Great location, walking distance to Michigan Ave stores and restaurants. Nice room, good service. The coffee-maker in the room did not work, however.

One miserable former Sheraton guest
A good deal in a great city
Staff were helpful. Although not a flashy hotel, they readily provided the convenience of bar, restaurant, and good service. We walked everywhere and took public transportation to several sites.

The best restaurant we went to was only 3 blocks away, as was the main Michigan Ave. shopping area. We chose to walk 6 to 8 blocks for another meal. Cabs are available at reasonable cost.

It's good, needs to improve the room
Our first day greeting was good, everyone's friendly and polite, inside our room was okay, except for the shower head which doesn't go up and water was very low, and then to top it off, in the middle of the night around 2am, we smelled a strong odor which was like a paint thinner or gas, which we go alarmed, so we called the operator, and just answer us as "maybe they were painting", instead of finding out...so we slept around 4am 'cause we can't stand the smell....and we tell the front the following day and they said it was their cleaner..

Unbeatable location for the price
We were in the city for an open house for Northwestern University's Graduate program. The location was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere within minutes. The room was clean and comfortable. The only negative comment is...this noise that went off every 30 seconds or so. It sounded like planes flying over but I didn't see any and didn't hear it any other place. I wonder if it was actually the elevator we were hearing? Our room was right next to the elevators. Overall I would stay here again!

Double Tree
My experience at the hotel was pleasant [...] The hotel was good, but only good for the bed. The service was rather awful, which was probably because they saw me as only a nineteen year old. Overall, I would probably stay in the hotel again if I had to.
