Thanksgiving in Chicago
The Doubletree was clean, quiet and staff very friendly. It's location was fantastic. Parked the car in the onsite garage, and everything's close by. Thanksgiving dinner at Bin 36; Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows on IMAX at Navy Pier, and Black Friday shopping and dining on Michigan Ave.

We've seen most Harry Potter films on IMAX in Chicago, always a special trip to do so. IMAX is fantastic. Navy Pier is only 5 blks from Doubletree Hotel.

Not impressed
Nice room with awesome soft bed. But where is the service with a smile? Front desk service was terrible. The ladies were nice but the gentalman behind the counter couldn't be more cold as he talk like he just doesn't want to be there. Not what I'm used to from double tree establishment. On top of that...41 bucks for parking?!?!

Doubletree Mag Mile Chicago
The hotel was nice, but definitely over priced. The room wasn't very big, the TV was old and not high-def.

Priceless weekend
I took my granddaughter on this weekend trip to get an Americal Girl doll. The hotel was very close to the store. She even enjoyed breakfast in bed!

Great service & location
Super friendly staff, large comfortable rooms, very nice location. Room was a little cool even with heater turned on, and it wasn't terribly cold outside (by Chicago standards). Overall, a very pleasant business stay. Would recommend this hotel for all travel purposes.
