They put profit before people.
There was an error in booking, I did not know anything about Chicago I was going to an event and for whatever reason I booked the wrong Crown Plaza Hotel through cheap tickets. when I realized it I called cheap tickets and they in turn called the hotel they would not change me over to the other Crown Plaza Hotel due to policy. I would never recommend anyone to stay at there hotel chain as they put money ahead of people. Parking at Hotel $50.00 per night

Great location
Excellent hotel for the price. The room was spacious, quiet and with a good city view from the 34th floor. The business center (2 PCs, 2 Macs and printer) was more than adequate for my needs (e-mail and flight info.) and let me leave my laptop at home. The hotel is just steps from Michigan Ave. and close to bus and rail public transit. Only downside for me was a noisy HVAC unit though it was not so bad as to disturb my sleep

Office staff getaway

Perfect Location
Our room was quiet, the staff were friendly, and not fake, and the location was ideal! If you stay here you have to eat ot the downstairs Pub. Great food, and good prices. We liked everything about our stay and would stay here again.

Perfect location
This hotel was in the perfect spot to take in all of the Magnificent Mile. Not too far south or north - we walked everywhere, including to the Sears Towers. The pub downstairs had amazing food at a reasonable price & Starbucks in the hospital was our other daily stop. Our room was quiet, and bed comfortable. It wasn't super fancy - but at the price I didn't expect it to be. Hotel staff were accomodating & kind - only thing I"d change is to have a water or coffee station in lobby? Thanks!

Don't accept room 2201
Front desk customer service was not the best as one clerk let me stand there for a long period and did not acknowledge me. I stood back and loudly asked if there is anyone that can assist me and suddenly I was noticed and a couple clerks jumped to help. As I get ready to go to the room there is a line around the lobby corner to get on the elevator. Seemed the the elevators were moving slow as molasses. Once in the room it is beautiful with a lovely view. Very comfortable and clean. Room lighting was dimmer than I hoped. My biggest issue with the room is that it is next door to a Staff room. Staff constantly going in an out with equipment into the late hours. Not fun being awakened in the morning with that loud noise. The only reason for my Average rating is the noise from the staff room next door and the initial non chalant front desk customer sevice. All in all I think my experiences were temporary problems of the day (except the room location) and I would stay again.
