Spacious baths and granite vanities further the upscale feel, while an ergonomic chair and wide desk provides comfort for bringing work projects back to the hotel room. Wi-Fi Internet access is complimentary. The hotel also touts larger rooms than the competition.

Great hotel, great location.
The hotel is in a great location for seeing all the local sites. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Broad of get eat bars and restaurants around the hotel. The breakfast that is provided by the hotel was the basics in the foyer and we thought it was a weird location to hold it. The food was good for what we needed for a quick meal before getting out and about. We found the bed wasn't the most comfortable and had trouble sleeping , but that could have just been the room we had. What suggest this hotel to friends and I would stay here again. Felt safe around the neighborhood, and we had a ball in Chicago. Tips; We went to the jazz bar across from the hotel and we are disappointed. There is an entry fee of $15 (hotel guests can get $5 off per person see the hotel for a card) and the band didn't play much they spent more time on a break). The bar next to hotel is great. We went when karaoke was on and had a ball.

Nightlife tip:
Short walk from hotel
Determine the bars which are open later and get to them before 1:30 otherwise the lines get very long to get in them once the other bars are closed.

Loved the shopping too! Get to the museums early before they open. We went on our spring break and the biggest line was for the SHEDD Aquarium. Definitely buy tickets on line AHEAD OF TIME.

Comfy Cozy - A little noisy
The hotel staff was great! From the minute our taxi cab pulled up and helped us out to the minute we checked out. The experience was great! The hotel room bed was the most comfortable bed I think I've EVER slept in. The street noise was a bit loud and not very muffled by windows or walls.

Wonderful staff!
We were in town for a family get-together, and the desk clerks, doormen, and bartender were beyond helpful - warm, friendly, and happy to be there. When we asked for dinner recommendations, for example, the desk clrak didn't just offer a few close options, he asked us what we liked, and found us a reservation 2 blocks away at a great place that could seat us immediately. (Rosebud Trattoria also gets a great review.) The pool, hot tub, sauna and exercise room were also welcome amenities before and after long days.

Undergoing renovations
Very comfortable bed, poor lighting in suite's living area. Staff extremely friendly and accommodating. Hotel restaurant/room service options very limited, unappealing. Great restaurants in the neighborhood. Extremely loud music from outdoor concert arena on Friday night.
