Staff did not acknowledge your presence for a while. However, some were friendly and helpful once they did. Not all staff were equally friendly. Allowed early check in and waived $20 fee. Rooms were supposed to be smoke free but you could smell significant smoke smell from the corridor and adjacent rooms. Was cleared after notifying hotel staff. Refrigerator extremely noisy.

A suite held three of us easily - could work for four. Had in suite kitchen, very large room. Excellent.

We went to a musical and the location was perfect for this. On the negative side, A larger cube maker for ice (it gave crushed ice which rapidly froze into a single mass) and, of all things, it was the location of the toilet tissue holders in the bathroom.....Very awkward placement We like the hotel and would stay there again.

This hotel was great! It had more ammentites than we needed. An outstanding location. By the river, by stores, by attractions, just great. We could walk anywhere we wanted (and did many times) or catch the public transportation. We could get to both the "L" and the buses. During the day we heard and saw a lot of action from the ambulances. With that said, we did not hear them at all at night. It was oustanding. The next day we found out that there was so much action because they were filming a tv show near by. It even said where they were filming, so if you wanted to see it you could. Well, I would definately recommend this place.

The hotel was pretty average. I didnt have high expectations for a comfort hotel, but i thought i would get better since it was on Michigan Avenue Chicago. On Saturday morning, we ran out of hot water for almost the entire morning, so I missed part of the conference I was attending. Also, the suggested parking location charged me an extra $10 on top of the $120 for 4 nights since it took me ten minutes to load my luggage.

The queen suite was HUGE, larger than some apartments I've lived in. Very comfortable bed, and quiet (up on the 22nd floor, at least). Excellent location, especially if attending conferences at nearby hotels such as the Hyatt.

I was extremely impressed by the hotel. When I got to my room and discovered a full kitchen, living room, seperate bedroom, and washer and dryer IN the room, I was impressed. The room was clean, and comfortable. I've never enjoyed a stay more.

We paid $149.70 for a 2 night stay in Chicago. Honestly that's a GREAT price considering this hotel is located right on N. Michigan Avenue. At first I was expecting a mediocre room for this price, but when my boyfriend and I arrived at our room I couldn't believe it! This hotel had a living room space, two flat screen TV's, a couch, an equipped kitchen and its own bedroom! The room itself is spotless, tidy and very spacious!The staff were very friendly and let us keep our luggage in their bell closet free of charge before and after checking in which was very convenient for us. They also helped us out with directions to the nearest subways. A+ for service!My only suggestion when booking for this hotel with [...] (or for any hotel) is to keep a look out for online promotions! That's how I got such a great price for this hotel. Overall I give this hotel an A+ ...there was nothing negative that I could think of!

These rooms are great--they are suites, so you get a kitchenette with small oven, microwave, full size fridge, kitchenware, and counter with bar stools to sit at; there is a living room with a work area, and a flat-screen tv; separate bedroom with--get this: a washer and dryer located in the closet! The Queen bed was extremely comfortable, the linens smelled really good, faintly of lavender, it seemed. The location was great, near good restaurants and shops. For the rate, you just can't beat this--why stay anywhere else?

Great Hotel Big Rooms
