Great for two
My boyfriend & I stayed here for a long weekend. The room size was what we expected for being in a city. Plus, we were rarely there as we explored Chicago. The room & hotel were clean, & the staff was very helpful when we needed. The only slight disadvantage is the hotel's location. Although it is near major landmarks, we noticed it was more in the business/financial district. As twenty-somethings, we realized we were not near any nightlife or near bars beside the hotel's. Parking was a few blocks away but the hotel validates it, so it wasn't as bad as we expected. Overall, a good deal!

I use this hotel often
The Club Quarters in the Loop has always been a favorite place of mine. It isn't the Palmer House, but it is a really nice hotel, with courteous staff, very clean and comfortable rooms, lots of amenities, and it's in a perfect location. I frequently go to Chicago for symphony concerts and this hotel is one block from the Blue Line train, and only a few blocks from Symphony Center and the Art Institute; it's a perfect match for my needs.

Money-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
If you have a kitchenette (or just a refrigerator) in your room, and want to cut down on restaurant expenses, there is a Whole Foods market on at the corner of Dearborn and Huron; and a Trader Joe's on Ontario, near Wabash.

Close to lots of things to do!
A few blocks from Willis Tower, Art Museum, State Street shopping, Millennium Park and the Cultural Center. Had a fantastic dinner at Giordano's, just around the block. Deep dish Chicago pizza at it's finest! Room was small, but clean and comfortable. They have filtered water station by the elevators with clean empty water bottles to fill and take with you! A nice amenity when bottled water costs a buck a pop if you buy at the store. I leave the car at the Federal Street garage and get a reduced price when I validate ticket at the hotel. This is the second time I've stayed there on an overnight trip to Chicago and I would highly recommend it and will stay there in the future!

Club Quarters - Great location and value
I like Club Quarters because of the location and price. The amenities are sparce like no fridge in the room and ice only one one floor. But for $100 a night in Chicago it can't be beat. It's close to all the theaters and plenty of restaurants.

perfect overnight visit for the theater
Valet greeted us at the sidewalk, explained about parking, and then held the door for us to enter the hotel. All throughout our stay the staff was attentive and helpful. This was my first solo trip to Chicago, and I felt very taken care of. The room was clean and comfortable; everything I needed for an overnight stay. I am looking forward to staying at Club Quarters again on my next trip!
