Overall a great experience! Food was average! We would stay here again, but would rent a car for the entire stay so we can eat at different local restaurants.

A perfect spot....
Everything was good until the last day, Mothers Day. My daughter and son in law took us to brunch at 11am. The Eggs Benedict were dry and hard and the dessert table was looked pretty sad, with very little on it.(cookies and two cakes). Everything else was good.

Short walk from hotel
go to the shopping centre instead of eating at the resort. restaurant food prices are pretty expensive inside resort, a lot cheaper in the wailea shopping centre.

Overall pleasant stay
While the resort is located at a most beautiful location, we had some issues with our room location. It was situqated right above the resort loading area. Consequently, there was much vehicle noise and fumes from service trucks and vehicles. It was very unpleasant sitting at the Lanoi in the morning hours. The resort staff dealing with room cleaning etc. was excellent.

Honeymoon Getaway
The resort was a great value after having purchased a discount package with flight and car rental. We thoroughly enjoyed our honeymoon. The hotel gave us a free upgrade from a partial ocean view to a full ocean view. When no King bed room was available, we were put on a waiting list until one was. When we moved to the King bed room, the room was even nicer. Staff were all smiles. The pool cabana rental and spa couple massage were highlights of the stay.

Wailea Marriott Resort, Maui
As always, this hotel provides the best Maui has to offer in hospitality, cleanliness, friendliness, and a truly wonderful Maui vacation. The staff is superb throughout the property and practice the Aloha spirit at all times. We are always welcomed as though we are family, and cared for in the same way. The walking path, and the whales off of this area, and nearby beach make it the perfect spot for our almost yearly vacation. The hotel offers delicious cuisine, too, in both the Bar/Lounge and Dining Room. We travel to the Alii Lavendar Farm, Kula area, and Lahaina area during our stay. We enjoy the walking path every morning for 60 minutes and in the ocean nightly for our wave surfing--yes, still love to do this at 66 years old! This year we traveled by ferry to Molokai for a day's tour. A spectacular ocean trip, as well as a terrific/knowledgeable/fun travel guide on Maui (Rudy) made for a wonderful day to feel "old Hawaii". I cannot think of one thing that would have made it any more special. We are already planning for next year's visit to revive our inner spirit. Thank you for another perfectly wonderful stay!
