Nice hotel

We had an ocean view room with a beautiful view. The room was clean and well maintained, but nothing special. The beach and pools were very nice, but too rocky for swimming. The hotel was in a great location with a market and gas station close bye. Dining was tasty, but expensive. I would recommend the Friday Prime rib and crab buffet was the best value. The staff was friendly. My one complaint was the hotel fees, otherwise this is a great place to stay.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Buy food and water at the market on the same side of the street, it will save you a lot of money. Buy gas somewhere else on the island.

Expensive but Nice

Cocktails were 16 dollars at the pool. The breakfast buffet cost 25. Though the food and drinks are excellent, you definitely pay for it. There is also a 25 dollar per day "resort fee" that give you access to daily activities, of which I saw none the entire time. Great beach, the shower temp fluctuated to extremes but other than that no complaints.

Hawaii Trip

The Hotel was a great compromise between cost and luxury. Staff was very helpful and cordial. The food and drink, although pricey (everything in Hawaii is), was first rate. We would definitely stay at the Marriott again.

Good family trip

The hotel was not that clean when we got there. Even we did room service, it was not clean at all. The view of the room was not either mountain or garden, actually it is the outside roof of the lobby.

Good deal for the price, but not perfect experience

The first day we checked in with our friends. They got free upgrade for the room but they refused to offer it to us which made us feel very bad. The beach is very good. They have really beautiful coastline there and you could swim with the fish. Pools are also good. The food from the hotel restaurant is at average level. The morning buffet is better than the dinner. The room is not clean but pretty old. You could tell if from the ceiling of the restroom. In addition, they won't clean the room very well, which is also disappointing us. Overall, if we don't have the package deal with the flight, we won't book it again.

Great experience

It was raining the night when we got there. There wasn't any games room such as table tennis or such to keep us occupied. But the NYE was a great time!
