The Kapalua Villas

A very nice and peaceful place to stay at. This hotel does not have a beach on the property you have to drive or take the shuttle to get to the near by beach. The beach is public and small.

modern, large condo. We had a fairway view that actually was also ocean view, saw many whales jumping in ocean from our balcony. Beautiful property, close to large shopping areas, great value. Difficult to find check-in location.

The Golf Villas at Kapalua in Maui are the perfect accommodations for a couple or family. Great views of the golf course and the Pacific ocean, spacious family room open to the kitchen and dining room, one or two bedroom units with finely appointed bathrooms, washer and dryers in the unit as well as all the supplies and items you need to accommodate your stay. Multiple restaurants within walking or short drive distance, general store, gift shop, churches etc. it is all there. Highly recommend giving it a try!

The villa was luxurious! The bathroom was gorgeous! Everything was good, except the mattress, which was very uncomfortable.

The villa was nice. Great view of the ocean, layout was nice with all the included appliances. Not the fault of the hotel, but the place is far from everything. If you don't want to go around the island, the beaches in the area are great for surfing/snorkeling. Took points off for the constant landscaping/gardners in the area which nearly eliminates the private lanai. They were out there everyday and the tools shed was right next to our villa. Second negative was too many roaches, we personally killed 6. Our last nite there, one ran under the fridge and we called maintainence. The guy who came was nice and helpful and he sprayed and killed the bug. He had to move the fridge and found another 2 under there.

The hotel is nice but too far from the airport and very hard to find. Its was nice and quite the first night until the other guests check in above us and we can hear them walking very loud and is was very annoying.

This place was Awesome. This was the most relaxing vacation I have spent. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. We stayed in the bay course 20 T7 which was a 1 bedroom site. This had everything one would want for a couple of 2. We stayed 8 nights and this felt like home. The Spa here was so nice. I looked forward to getting up and working out and then relaxing in the Spa and pool. We are definately coming back here again. Our only dis-appointment was that our vacation had to end.

Don't get me wrong, the views, grounds and area of Kapalua are stellar ... So I am glad we stayed there for a while ... But the villa we were in was not up to par based on marketing materials and cost. I will share pros & cons: Pros: -spacious villa with 'upgraded' ocean view -just a short walk to napili bay dining options -spa facility ($25/day extra fee) was stellar but not inexpensive and you pay whether you use it or not -many hiking and snorkeling options immediately nearby -easy, convenient parking right in front of unit Cons: -the units are clearly individually owned and maintained - ours had many shoddily repaired or painted walls, old tired carpet and 80s vintage decor -the worst issue was that two nights in a row (our last two) I got spider bites overnight while sleeping ... Nearly 5 days later they are still here. I let the management know who said they would have the unit checked (hope they do) -walk to anything is pretty far ... And we love walking ... Nearly a mile to get to anything.... And when you do get there the kapalua things ad super pricey All in all, if the villa had been updated, this would be a great place for a 3 night stay ... So you could stay 3 nights on the other side of the island ... Kapalua is lovely but we ended up driving a lot more than we would have liked. The layout would have been good for a family with kids.

We couldn't have asked for a better holiday. The golf villa we stayed in had fantastic sea views.. Although there was construction going on around us to be honest it's the quiet season and that's the time to get things done so not complaining about it. Don't understand people complaining about the pools they were ok. But never used them because of the excellent beaches all around. We hired snorkels and swam with turtles every day. Can't do that in a pool. I cannot recommend kapalua highly enough. Breathtaking.

We loved the Kapalua Villas! The view was to die for, the amenities were top of the line, and there was a shuttle that took you anywhere on the resort until 11pm. The beaches were very nice, and one of be best sushi restaurants on Maui is located on the resort! I would recommend this resort to anyone- couples, families, and group vacations!
